Meet the Spartans Trailers

The heroic Leonidas, armed with nothing but leather underwear and a cape, leads a ragtag group of 13 Spartans to defend their homeland against the invading Persians (whose ranks include Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers, and a hunchbacked Paris Hilton). No one is safe when the Spartans take on the biggest icons in pop culture!

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

If you think Epic Movie was bad, then try watching this one! The blame rests fully with the writing team, it is just dire, you almost have to feel sorry for the performers, as they try their best, but are totally up against it.Carmen Electra tries her, best, she looks great, but she has wrecked any credibility she had by doing too many of these poor films. The only surprise to come out of this film was to see how buff that guy from Eastenders had become. Sean Maguire looks in incredible shape, but sadly for him, this was a disaster role.I think even adolescent teens would find this brand of toilet humour an embarrassment, and simply not funny.Awful.

I'm a Persian/Iranian and I think the movie 300 was extremely racist. I'm not a historian and I'm not sure if the story behind the movie was true or not but the way it presented ancient Persia and Persians was offensive and not true. I think this movie is so hilarious and funny. I recommend this to every Iranian who was upset about the actual movie just like me. To know that not all Americans think about other countries like that. Personally this is not the type of cinema that I'm interested; but if one of the purposes of cinema is to tell people not to take life so serious, this movie done its job well.

I watched this movie as I marathoned the IMDb bottom 100, so I now how much movies can hurt. this movie does not hurt me. It has no self contained plot, and after five minutes of euphoric high caused by an almost its so bad its good, my brain adjusted to the randomness of the film I just watched it and attempted to guess the jokes before they happened for the remaining 55 minutes. My opinion on it is that it was a complete and utter waste of time, and the only reason it gets one star instead of three is that I PAID FIVE DANG DOLLARS FOR IT. I could go onto Youtube watch a summary of 300, the movie this is ripping off, then a video of a grown man crapping his pants in public, and finish it off by starring at a wall for an hour and get the same experience. They didn't even let me rent it on amazon, they made me buy it so that when I am watching a movie with friends I will have to explain why MEET THE SPARTANS is in my movie library. As a side note I watched this with two other people who both claim it was the worst movie they have ever seen and was so painful to watch one of them dropped out of the marathon. My theory is that this movie did not hurt me because I am a cynical nihilist who is not surprised that such horrors could be put to celluloid. So in conclusion I would not suggest this movie to anyone and if it doesn't cause you unimaginable pain it will leave a nauseous feeling because you will have to live the wrest of your life knowing you gave money to these soulless hacks.

I think most of the reviews of this film are WAY harsh. It's a farce, for chrissakes! A broad, bawdy romp that riffs on every scene in "The 300," from which it was derived. Incidentally, not to see the original "300" would make watching this film a colossal waste of your time, for this same reason. I thought the star of the film who portrayed Leonitus, Sean MaGuire, was a spot-on, dead ringer for the original, and funny as hell. One the negative side, some of the gags in this movie tended to go on a little too long to sustain the laugh, but many of the scenes in this movie I thought were hilarious, just dying to be spoofed. Again, this isn't Ben Hur, nor was it meant to be. Lighten up folks, and enjoy.
