The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Vampires Suck (2010) This yet another spoof, this time it a spoof of Twilight' movie.I do seem to like a lot Spoof movies, such as all the scary movies, Shriek If You Know What I Did Last Friday the Thirteenth, Not another teen movie, Superheor movies, i did enjoy those moviesI did not like date movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie or Stan Hellsing and i have not seen Meet the Spartans.However for Vampires Suck, I did not hate and I did not love it and I did enjoy the movie.The movie start of really poor, some of the jokes are way over the top and do not work, but after 20 mins of the movie. It did get a bit better then were some okay jokes scenes which made me laugh few times but it's much better then the god awful Disaster Movie and StanHellsing put together but not as good as any of the Scary movies or even Superhero movie.If you don't like spoof, skip it, and if you liked Shriek If You Know What IDid Last Friday the Thirteenth, then you might like this too .i going this 4 and half out 10 lol

Vampires Suck is undoubtedly an awful movie to watch. It's another "Masterpiece" created by the Horrible movie directors of Friedberg and Seltzer. These guys have no idea how to make anything good, or even how to make anything humorous. They should be banned from the industry from making anything. And this movie is no exception. But why do I give it two stars instead of one? Because though Vampires Suck is a terrible film, its still a better movie than any of the Twilight movies. Yes, BETTER. The Twilight movies are the worst movies I've ever seen. Its mainly because of the horrible characters of Bella, Edward and Jacob who have no decent human qualities. It also ruins the lore of horror fantasy. Because of the Twilight movies, I will never find Vampires or Werewolves interesting ever again. Bottom Line, the Twilight movies are to me the lowest levels cinema can ever sink down to. Vampires Suck is better because it at least know the franchise it's spoofing is already horrible to begin with. Friedberg/Seltzer at least know that Twilight is terrible, so anything they do will be better than Twilight. Don't get me wrong, all of their movies are really bad. I just find them better than Twilight will ever be.

To Jason Friedberg and Aron Seltzer: Please stop making movies. Your films are not funny, they never were funny, they never will be funny! If you can't even do a spoof of Twilight right then you are a horrible disgrace to the art of film making. It's not that the jokes in this film grew old months ago, they grew old years ago! You still have the stupid door in your face joke, the poop joke, and constant unfunny references to things like shows and other movies. For example, there is one scene where the girl ask who the Edward spoof guy is (His acting is even worse than Robert Pattison's look like Leonardo DiCaprio) and her friend list a bunch of names, the Bella spoofer says "No, not the douchebags from the Jersey Shore". Do you understand how insulted I felt to be watching this bs? If anyone you know thinks that this is a funny, well made film you have my permission to smack them with a baseball bat.

Twilight was one of the most annoying franchises of the last decade, and certainly ripe for parody. Unfortunately, most of its parodies are shallow "comedies" that reference certain scenes, and then insert flatulence jokes and uninspired slapstick in them. That's Vampires Suck (2010) in a nutshell.Random is the word of the day here. Random musical numbers, random celebrities popping up out of nowhere, random fights, random references to other bits of popular culture that have nothing to do with Twilight or vampires. I understand most people think random equals funny, but guess what? It doesn't. It just makes for a boring, frustrating mess of a movie.
