Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Someone once described "The Osbournes" as "The Munsters" in rehab. This is unfair to the Munsters, who underneath their monstrous facades were quite normal, almost wholesome (after all, "The Munsters" had the same producers as "Leave It To Beaver.") The Addams Family were truly deranged, which makes them perhaps a more apt comparison. I enjoyed this show at first, mainly because I thought it was all a put on; nobody, I thought, could really be that stupid. Then Ozzy had his near-fatal ATV accident and it stopped being funny. Evidently there really are people that stupid. I must admit I admire Sharon Osbourne, a plain-speaking matriarch who proves the adage that behind every great man stands a good woman. It's largely thanks to her guidance that Ozzy has maintained his credibility with the younger generation despite being one of the founding fathers of heavy metal. He was playing with Black Sabbath back in 1969, when Richard Nixon was president, the Mets won their first world series and Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. The nice thing about "The Osbournes" was that you could enjoy it without being a fan of Ozzy or heavy metal. It's hard to reconcile the kindly if stupefied grandfatherly figure (who always makes me think of Benjamin Franklin) with the ghoul who used to bite the heads off of live birds. The kids were the real stars, especially Kelly, but they've had their fifteen minutes of fame and I doubt they'll have a very long shelf life. Still, it was fun while it lasted.

Ozzy Osbourne is a living legend, being one of the 4 founding members of the ground-breaking band Black Sabbath, the true creators of Heavy Metal. After being expelled from the band for excessive substance abuse, he went on to form a very productive solo career, and is one of the forefathers of Heavy Metal. This show is a disgrace to this musical idol. It is a reality show, which shows the life of Ozzy, his wife Sharon and their two kids, Jack and Kelly. In the first season, the focus was on many jokes, the swearing and Ozzy's speech problems due to his drug abuse. By this time, you could tell he was dominated by his money-hungry wife, who was willing to embarrass her husband to no extent in order to get more money from the show, and his two spoiled kids, who are simple rich brats who are extremely disgraceful to the man that gave them that life. By Season 2, this get extremely out of proportion, and Ozzy's only purpose on the show is to be the laughingstock of the family, while he is pushed over by Sharon and his kids. The fact is that the show is just another pathetic piece of scripted reality trash, and disgraces the man who, together with Iommi, Butler and Ward created Heavy Metal. It also shows how disgraceful and fame-hungry some people will go, such as Sharon, Jack and Kelly. Hopefully someday Ozzy's name can be cleaned off from this embarrassment and the show should be avoided, for simply being pop culture trite.

The Osbournes. A typical American family IF you are a multimillion dollar rockstar. Ozzy Osboune, the once troubled youth from the backroads of Aston, England, now middle-aged, recovering drug-addict rockstar. In 1995 he took a break for six years. But now he's back, bringing his family with him, along with a new album, Down to Earth. When this was shown on CTV in Canada, there was no bleeps and an age warning. I ignored the warning and was greeted with a yogurt machine spewing soft-icecream. Oh wait! That's Lola. Many swears and cuss's from all four members and the friends spewed on for 23 minutes. After hearing Ozzy's garbled speech for about three episodes, I started understanding what he was saying. While Season 1 was the best, 2 wasn't as good and 2.5 sucked more than Michael Jackson. Finally, the show made a comeback nearly a year later with 3 and that season was fresher than Lola's turds. .:SPOILERS:.Less swearing, Ozzy being able to walk and less slurring made this a better season. Though fans who were attached to the constant curses might be a little more spaced from this season, it still has genuine outbursts of rushed f-words and -words and the whole damn alphabet of swearing. :.NO MORE SPOILERS.: Overall, if you get it Uncensored, enjoy. Censored, don't bother.

Ok, well, this is my review of the Season 2 of "The Osbournes". If you read my first review, I said that I was hooked and that I loved the show. That was true. I felt the first season was more about Ozzy and Sharon and Kelly and Jack were just supporting characters. NOW, in Season 2, its "THE KELLY AND JACK SHOW". Basically its at the point where Jack and Kelly will put on a show for the audience and its getting ridiculous. I think the main difference is that this year, THEY KNOW how big they are, and last season, they had no clue of how big it would be. I mean, devoting an entire show to horny dogs is not my idea of great television. Nor is seeing Kelly yell and scream about how her life is so terrible and how she needs a break. Don't worry Kelly, you're break is coming, because I don't think this show will be on for very long and without this show, your "career" is just about over. I think if they showed more Ozzy and less of Jack and Kelly, it would be a better show, but oh well..Thanks for Reading my Review. Sorry Ozzy
