Highly Overrated But Still Good

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Ive always used imdb to read reviews but have never actually written one until now. I cannot Belive how great this show was, it just got better and better as each episode went one! The acting the plot twists it's just all so brilliant, I'm just so happy I came across this tv show, I cannot wait for season 3 and I hope to Micheal the seasons just keep rolling in!!

Great concept of a show! I was skeptical but it's one of my favourites ever! So funny, I could watch it all at once.

Love this strange show! It takes crazy twists you would never expect and succeeds to surprise me every time. Although I'm not sure how long this show is dragging out. Season 1 and season 2 are definitely great but I'm not sure how they can expand this (except telling us how it ended instead of cliffhangers) without getting dragged on. A third season would be good to finish everything off but I hope it ends on a good note as I don't think continuing the show past 5 seasons would be a good idea. Overall it's good!

The Good Place does a great job as a comedy, but the real genius comes in how it wrestles with deeper issues such as what the consequences are for certain actions and what happens in the afterlife. In the show, the main character, Kristen Bell, finds herself in The Good Place (heaven) after her sudden death. She quickly learns that she does not belong here, but rather in The Bad Place, as she did not life a very moral or just life on earth. It is interesting to see her struggle with this internal issue while trying to decide if she should admit her findings or change herself to try to fit in. This show serves a much greater purpose than to get a few laughs as it makes the viewer think about topics such as morals and where they come from.
