I like Black Panther, but I didn't like this movie.

... View MoreThe film is based on a novel by Candace Bushnell. It's about the lives of four young women in search of the perfect relationship. All of them face some kind of romantic crossroads. Carrie Bradshow living in Manhattan writes an article named " Sex and the city". She explores such an issue why there are so many great unmarried women and no great unmarried men and others. The relationship problems and inner questions which are raised in the film are up-to-date and concern everybody. In my opinion one of the main problem here is leniency. You should take into account other people's point of view. Taste differ, of course. Every person has the right to spend his life whatever he wants. This movie will help you to learn much about yourself, your wishes and goals. The plot is absolutely captivating and thought-provoking. The movie is full of frank details and moments, hints and events. It's highly entertaining too. To my mind, the cast is excellent. The acting is true to life. As for me, this movie occupies a huge place in my heart. To make a long story short, it's worth seeing.
... View MoreSex and the City (1998-2004) is one of my absolute favorites for many reasons. First off, it sports an incredible cast! Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Carrie Bradshaw, Kim Cattrall plays Samantha Jones, Cynthia Nixon is Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis plays Charlotte York. The casting is spot on, every actress plays their character perfectly. It's true that they're all a joy to watch, Samantha Jones is my personal favorite, she's truly hilarious and just when you think she can't think about anything other than casual sex, she surprises you with her big heart. I love that each character has their own style and they are so different as people, yet they fit together perfectly as a friend group. The writing is just great. It is full of witty, hilarious humor, touching moments between these well developed characters, and it's all pulled together by the great chemistry that hovers over the whole show. Another thing I love is how real the show is, especially about sex. All is revealed. The dialogue is uncensored and that works for the show. Overall, this is a very entertaining, well written show that I definitely suggest! 10/10.
... View MorePrudes need not apply!I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to like this show. But I do. The central characters are very funny and the men, particular the ones who come in and out of the show throughout make it for me. The setting is fantastic obviously and although I'm sure it's idealistic and not completely true to life its escapism for adults. In addition the first movie is good also but the 2nd one is dreadful but like most box sets once you get into the series I find it very watchable. Lads if your wife, girlfriend, partner or friend is trying to force this on you give it a chance it's funny, warm and ultimately an easy watch. Also never hurts to score browning points if you announce during Netflix and chill evenings 'let's put SATC on' 😃
... View MoreWWII. Promontory Point. Watergate. 9/11. Gay Marriage. America has a history; A history with highs and lows, mountains and plateaus. Television itself is a part of the American history and Sex and the City is indeed, a milestone in Television's history. HBO for years had been THE MAN'S NETWORK. Boxing match? You got it. Testosterone- heavy stand up comedy? Check. Even late night adult programming seemingly made for the only living creatures to be sexually aroused. They had it. What they didn't have was 50% of population watching. This all changed with the strike of some jazzy piano notes accompanied visually by the top of Sarah Jessica Parkers head followed by the top of the Chrysler Building. Top of the female head in the Top of the World. THAT, right there in the first 3 seconds is the story: The New York State of a New York Woman's Mind. Sarah Jessica plays Carrie Bradshaw, who writes a sex column in the New York Observer called Sex in the City. She's fun, she's flawed, she's fashionable and most importantly, she is fascinating. Like fellow curly Q Miss Frizzle before her, Carrie isn't scared to take chances, makes mistakes and get messy. And let's say she does get scared, she has her three soul sisters to pick her up, dust her off and send her back to navigate through the New York dating scene. Great stories. Great Characters. The Greatest City in the World. Check.
