Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

Everything that happens in this show makes me angry. It is completely unrealistic the way characters decide they are "falling in love" or "Love" one another within the same week of discovering that person. Also, people get married so suddenly. I don't care if raj is dying, no one needs to get married. Another unrealistic part of this show is how annie and dixons parents seemed to fall off the face of the Earth. Not once was their dad mentioned after he got in a divorce with the mom. Ivy also fell off the face of the earth. They can't just get rid of characters the way they do.

I am a young adult that just watched this series. I am out of high school and college and enjoyed it. Though I do like teenage shows, so if you don't this will not be for you. Anyways, the series started out with the main characters in high school (first 3 seasons). Although they may not be realistic ( maybe thy are for super rich kids?) it was entertaining. There were conflicts and was happy with the fact that most problems didn't magically go away like they often do in TV shows. Seasons 4 was a rough transition to college years. Even though the characters wither e supposed to be 18 or 19 they could easily drink and such. It felt like it skipped for everyone being 21. This was my least favorite seasons. But, kept giving it a chance. The end of season 4 picked up the pace for me again. The final season ( though many don't agree) ended well. There were some conclusions in story lines ( yes there are a couple i would like to see more of) and some got wrapped up a little too fast. But, these characters are only around 20 years old, we can't follow them through their lives....(if they could and stay a successful show that would be kind of interesting but the scripts never stay good that long or the actors don't want to do it anymore)The final episode just kinda of puts it like... this is where they are going or what issue they have to face in their life next.

Okay so there's a lot of mixed reviews on this show, criticising it for it's premise and mainly season 1 which tried too much to be the success that the original was. However, in the past seasons it has became a show in it's own right. It has a range of different characters, a few are annoying but others quite inspirational through their story lines. Yes this is a 'teen' drama but it has focused on story lines shocking story lines such as disability, mental illness and rape. The rape storyline was handled really well and realistically. Some of the other plots however are bit foreseeable such as people constantly ending up in car crashes. But that overall doesn't take away too much from an enjoyable watching experience. If you take away the extreme wealth and limitless opportunities, it is a very good show and I'm hoping it carries on to season 6.

In my day I have seen, many movies and many different TV shows. Of the teen drama's I have watched, this one takes the cake. Most teen drama's on these networks, (i.e. CW, MUCH, etc.) are just all lovey dovey. This one, it's got a little of everything, love, drugs, sex, crime, drama!, not your typical run of the mill boring teen drama. It's a pretty intense show at times, maybe I think this because I'm thirteen, but, like I said, I've seen many movies. My list of movies I've watched on my account ain't even half of what I've seen. Anyway!, It's a pretty good show I must say, and I can't wait until the premiere of Season 5 this fall!
