Horrible, fascist and poorly acted
... View MoreI think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
... View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
... View MoreA clunky actioner with a handful of cool moments.
... View MoreI caught this on HBO more than a few times when I was a kid. Back then it was known as "the dirty movie with the guy from 'Grease'" and when you are 13 a T&A film with a star you recognize from a kid friendly musical is a curious thing. How did that happen? Did the kids movie people know he was staring in this? How would my mother, the preeminent 'Grease' fan react if she knew? Should I show it to her? If I did, would she get mad and turn of HBO so I can't watch any more movies like this? Some questions are best left unanswered.Anyway, the movie is about a girl that really wants to be a stripper but can't seem to do it well. And then, at the very end of the film, she gets on stage and takes her top off, having overcome the plethora of obstructions that littered the road that ran to her stripper dream. No, I'm not joking that is actually the plot.Seriously, that IS the plot. The only other movie I can think of with a plot this stupid is "Cocktail."
... View MoreHeather, played by the terrible Michelle Foreman, who has only done three movies after this one, wants to be a dancer in a striptease club. The film runs about 98 minutes and all you see in this time is a lot of girls stripping, that's all.Not much of a story. Jeff Conaway, who once was co-star of "Grease" plays the owner of the strip club. He looks like the little brother of Keith Richards in here - really funny. Some of the girls are really pretty, especially the gorgeous Lori Jo Hendrix as Tammy. Lori had it all: good looks, charisma, talent and I wonder why she left the scene but she has deserved much better parts and better movies than this one.One of the girls, Crystal, played by an actress named Cameron, pays tribute to Rita Hayworth in "Gilda" and this is maybe one of the best scenes. The music's not bad and Body Double Shelley Michelle has a part in here too as Veronica. If you like to see beautiful girls dancing naked you'd better watch Plaboy TV or the movie "Lapdancing".
