This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

The movie was excellent. SRK superb acting and stylish. Songs and BGM were awesome in the movie. The movie was so interesting and thrilling. But the 2nd half in the movie was slightly boring.

After watching this movie I thought whether this movie was the best. Actually, it's not. This film is not even as entertaining as SRK's previous blockbuster entertainer Ra.One. This film Don 2 is a bit slow with some overacting in the first half, but eventually as the second half starts to unfold, this film comes with pretty interesting surprises. The action, music, dialogues, locations are all perfect but what keeps you to the edge of the seat is the screenplay, especially in the second half. It can be said that the second half is the highlight of the movie. SRK is real hero of the movie who steals hearts as well. The fights,as I described, are the best ones for an action thriller movie. The plot unfolds in such a way that will leave everyone astonished. On the whole,Don 2 is an action thriller flick that will thrill although after the first half, but will not leave you disappointed. It is a good movie and I don't wish it was better as I am satisfied with what it is. Go,watch it.

If u are SRK fan and if u love to see him as a baddie, Don 2 fits superficially well for the purpose. The director captures your attention on the plot for almost the whole movie. Leaving no stone unturned the plot starts 5 years after the previous venture Don ended. Don (Shah Rukh Khan) has the whole of the Asian drug market under his own control and is all set to expand his regime in Europe. The fight scenes appear convincing and the audience totally plunge in an high expectation mode. Don ends up in a prison in Malaysia only to set his arch-rival Vardhaan free from the prison. Assisted by his lady love Aisha ( Lara Dutta ) and genius computer hacker (Kunal Kapoor), Don along with Vardhaan gear up for a big bank robbery. Roma (Priyanka Chopra ) carries along very well in the film as she plays a cop confronting Don in his master-plan Chase scene really makes u grip the edges of your seat hard, Don's fighting skills do remind u of 'Bond' type Hollywood movies. So for all action and suspense lovers, go for this thrilling experience.

Don 2. The Regal Cinema, Colaba. Running time: much longer than I had anticipated. It was some time in the late afternoon and Ben, Stefan and I sat in the gallery section, in deep anticipation of what the posters had lead us to believe was the tale of an Indian stud with a fondness for attractive women and violence. We were correct in all but one respect; it was the tale of an Indian stud with a fondness for attractive women, violence, and cars. But first there were the trailers. No movie has ever sold themselves as Players sold itself to me on that padded bleacher-style seating. A group of good looking men drove a rainbow squad of Mini Coopers, in formation, to fight crime. At least I think it was to fight crime- the language barrier could cause significant confusion at times. My heart was racing, just as I'm sure it would have raced if I had seen a commercial for any Bollywood film. I honestly think I would enjoy watching two and a half hours of Indian advertisements more than I enjoyed watching the two and a half hours that was Don 2.The first hour was entertaining. There was absolutely no need to understand the dialogue. Don engaged in various criminal exploits while sending faux-subtle soft core insinuations to any young woman that appeared in the film. There were explosions and shiny guns. And that was all that was needed, until I found out that the intermission wasn't for another half an hour. And that the intermission wasn't the end. From here the plot continued to conform to already stated conventions- although I think there was some dancing in a casino.I didn't go to see Players.http://alibrarytowingrot.wordpress.com/2012/06/10/impressions/
