Pretty good movie overall. First half was nothing special but it got better as it went along.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

Yeah, something went horribly wrong. I gave this a 5 because it was terrible but I didn't add anybody to my list of people to avoid. 6 is the minimum rating I give for shows I'll re-watch, making 5 the max for the opposite.I can't even say it's worth seeing once. Indeed, if you liked the first one, maybe don't taint it by seeing the sequel. It has a great cast but it is just a big fail.

I'll admit from the off, that I am bias. I love Sandra Bullock, and will usually give anything she is in a chance. She remains one of the most talented and beautiful women in movies, and her ladylike sexiness is in rare supply. Any movie becomes promising just by having her name in it's cast. Plot In A Paragraph: FBI agent Gracie Hart (Bullock) is assigned to promote the FBI, touring with the brutal agent Sam Fuller (Regina King) as her bodyguard. While travelling around the country, her friend and Miss USA (Heather Burns) is kidnapped with Stan Fields (William Shatner) so Gracie decides to investigate the abduction in Las Vegas against direct orders.Bullock is the only real reason to see this, she tries hard, but it just doesn't work this time around. Her character is given a complete personality transplant (making her unlikeable at times) and Benjamin Bratt (so good in the first movie) doesn't return either and he is missed. Ernie Hudson does, but again only in a minor role. Heather Burns and William Shatner aren't given much to do this time around except be damsels in distress. Regina King is ridiculously annoying for the first hour or so!! It's not her fault she plays the character as written, but she is very unlikeable. Enrique Murciano is the most naive and thick FBI agent ever. Can anybody join the FBIbregardless of IQ?? Abraham Benrubi is fine as one of the villains of the flick (though his character is exactly the same as the one he played in "Without A Paddle") This is also the feature film (in a credited role) debut for Elisabeth Röhm, and she too is fine as an ambitious FBI agent. And in a blink and you'll miss her role Octavia Spencer is seen getting her copy of Gracie Hearts book signed. Over all Sandra Bullock remains watchable, but these are not two of her better hours.

The first Miss Congeniality was dreadful, (i gave it 2 out of 10). This...made 5 years after the first is about 20 times worse. If there was a funny line in there, I missed it. Miss Con "one" made a lot of money...because of the pulling power of Sandra Bullock. So, Miss Bullock had some free time, produced this , virtually knowing here huge fan base would pull this through. It worked, this really terrible film did make money. Not as much as the first piece of trash, but a tidy sum nevertheless. The most amazing fact about Bullock is...she is not funny. It is that "girl next door look she has" that makes the fans go ga ga. She doesn't act at all in this sequel. She plays...the girl next door. I did not want to see this---but i lost a bet---and this was my punishment. (I still get night-mares about it).

The first film was likable funny, but this sequel from director John Pasquin (The Santa Clause) does not follow the same format in any way. Basically clumsy FBI agent Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is recognised during a big bust, as many people remember her saving the life of Cheryl Frasier (Heather Burns), working undercover at the Miss United States Pageant. She is asked by her boss FBI Asst. Director Harry McDonald (Ghostbusters' Ernie Hudson) to become the face of the FBI, giving a positive face, and promoting her book on TV. Gracie's friends Cheryl, and pageant host Stan Fields (William Shatner) are kidnapped in Las Vegas, but the FBI aren't taking Gracie seriously to let her investigate. Gracie follows many clues for her own investigation to find Cheryl and Stan, with her bodyguard Sam Fuller (Regina King) who for a while can't stand her. After a long while of fighting and bickering, Gracie and Sam do eventually make up and work together, and they are trying everything to go against their orders and find the kidnappers and their victims themselves. Also starring Treat Williams as FBI Asst. Director Walter Collins and Enrique Murciano as Jeff Foreman. I agree with critics, if it weren't for Bullock this film would be pretty much a complete waste of time, but it isn't, there are one or two good giggles to be liked. Okay!
