It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

I used to enjoy the show. It focused on not only the business but other aspects such as the friends and family. Now it is all about the restaurants and nothing else. We don't need a one hour commercial. They should be paying the network for the advertising time. Might be time to end it

I just finished season 1 of this reality show off Netflix, which I believe is an A&E original. "Wahlburgers" showcases in reality format similar to what's dramatized on the HBO series, "Entourage". This show, however, mostly focuses on brother Paul Wahlberg, as the head chef and manager of the family restaurant "Wahlburgers" in Boston. Their outspoken mother- Alma I think is her name?- is a big part of the show as well. This family has like 15 kids??!! WTF?? LOL And famous bros Donnie (New Kids On The Block, TV's "Blue Bloods"), and more famous Mark, show up on a regular basis. You'll also see the real "Johnny Drama", as portrayed by Kevin Dillon on "Entourage", and others who inspired characters on that show.Overall, I enjoyed this show- found it amusing and all. Just felt- like with most reality programming- it seemed to be a bit forced, and fake, at times. Now I'd really like to see a show (reality or not) that showcases Mark Wahlberg's criminal past- complete with violence and all..now wouldn't THAT make for much more entertaining/interesting TV viewing-????

I honestly don't understand how people can write about how a "sibling rivalry annoys them." I'd have to ask "were you an only child?" in response. For those of us who had sisters and brothers this is right up your alley. First and foremost it's an Irish household, they recall tons of stories from the not so conventionally nuclear family of the 80's...This series is a breath of fresh air from all the other reality type shows that are on. One thing they are real, their lives are real the things that happen to them are real.Expressing the feelings of old and healing those feeling through some competition is the way it should be. I'm sure Mark took a beating for his brother and Donny has taken one for him...Can't wait to see where this goes next season I recommend this series to anyone not afraid of the REAL REALITY SHOW. That's all it is, unapologetic look into the lives of the "Wahlburgers" not just the burger joint but the family itself.

Okay, everyone take a breath. Now bow down and worship Mark Wahlburg. Kiss his ring. Stroke his ego. Tell him he is the baby and mommy's favorite child. Now let's look at his brother, Paul, who runs the family burger place. See Paul run. See Paul b&(*( about how his brothers, family, store, how much harder he works than everyone else. Give Paul some ADHD meds. Look at dumb Donnie. He doesn't do anything except make cute quips.I've like Mark Wahlburg since his boy band days. This show has no redeeming qualities. And I've given it lots of chances. Stick to movies.
