Am I Missing Something?

Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

I was looking on IMDb for good serials i could start watching, and then I saw Cobra Kai. I was thrilled to see that it had got 9,3 rating (at that time) and therefore I saw the trailer to see what it was about. I had an Spanish exame the day after and I didn't prepare for it, instead I started watching Cobra Kai, and man I do not regret it. I saw the whole show on 1 day, and therefore I couldn't even prepare for my exame, but I just couldn't stop watching the serial because it was so catchy. It is in my top best 3 serials 4 sure.I really recommend watching it, but to get the best understanding u should have watched Karate kid before.

If you liked the karate kid films you're gonna love this. Old rivalry's renewed between the main characters And some new young tallent in the mix as well makes for a very solid foundation for what can only be described as a well made well thought out scrip. A big well done to William zebka and Ralph machio as well As the new actors and actresses for a tv series I will be watching every week.

I am shocked to see why this utter garbage show is getting high reviews. It seems like a scam to get everyboady to rate this cheap crap so high. Can't beleive the original actors signed on for this.They could've done it better, instead we get soapy low budget, predicable cliched dialogue, predicatble plot and cheesy acting. This is an insult to the Karate Kid legacy.Very sad. It could've been really good but instead we get a bad show with very low production values.This made me want to watch the original Karate Kid again and I did, just to try and forget this pathetic excuse of a tv show.Avoid if you know what's good for you. Even Karate Kid 3 is better and that's saying a lot.

9.0 rating? Seriously? The show is smartly-written, has a fantastic performance by William Zabka and ends on a fantastic note. But is it a great show? Far from it. Just because it's a better show than expected doesn't make it one of the best shows ever. Disappointing that there's not even an ounce of objectivity in the reviews here.
