This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

The first season was terrible. Here's a spoiler: You barely see any tornadoes. How they could call this "Tornado" Chasers baffles my mind. The second season had a little bit more storm chasing, but the description of this series is way over-hyped.The first season was extremely boring. I mean really really boring. The editing was just bad.The second season was better. It seems they put a bit more effort into the editing and making it slightly exciting, although barely so.I purchased both seasons, and although I love storm chasing and the old Storm Chasers show, I didn't even finish watching the last 2 episodes of season 2 of this Tornado Chasers show. It was just plain, not very good.Thankfully, it didn't cost much, so I didn't waste that much money.I like the idea of the show, but the execution failed. It's funny though, all of a sudden a bunch of 10 star reviews showed up on here. Pretty suspiciously. I heard it through the grapevine that reed's buddies made them.Anyway, if you watch the episodes, you will see what I mean. It was extremely boring. This is why it was not picked up on TV and this is why the "series" never continued, even though they wanted it to.

Tornado Chasers is a fantastic insight into the daily lives of storm chasers, not only is it exciting to watch, Reed Timmer and his team explain the science behind it, and their ground breaking research technology. I have so much respect for these guys and the work they carry out. Without storm chasers to call in Tornadoes and severe weather there would be a lot more injuries and fatalities due to little warning time, especially in remote areas. I have a passion for weather and the incredible things Mother Nature can produce, living in Australia we do get amazing storm cells but nothing like Tornado Alleys. I hope to one day get over there to experience it for my self, but until then I will continue to watch Reed and his team. Keep up the amazing work guys !!

Reed, Sean, Mike and the team give us a really honest look at what it means to be a storm-chaser. It's not all flash and tornadoes. It's not all excitement and thrills. There is a ton of work that goes into it. Being in the right place at the right time is a lot about work and a bit about luck. If you're looking for a show that is all tornadoes all the time, then you're better off watching Twister or Sharknado. This is reality. As a storm-enthusiast who would love to get into chasing, I really appreciate the reality. The long drives, the hours of waiting, the disappointment of the storm dying and, of course, the thrill of a good chase. I am grateful to these guys who go out and put their lives on the line for others. Of course they enjoy what they do, but they are learning, warning and trying to make storms less dangerous in the future. Not only that, they are out there when disaster strikes and are not afraid of getting their hands dirty to help others. Thanks guys for all that you do. Don't let anyone say that what you do isn't worthwhile. You are, and will continue, saving lives. Keep it up! Thanks for letting us ride along. Looking forward to Season 3, whenever it comes.

I remember the very first exposure to any form of storm chasing I ever had, it was years ago, and I wasn't that old, but a clip of an excitable Reed if I recall correctly. I grew up with a Father who loved storms, well, weather in general if I am honest, but living in the UK, we see far less of the real, dangerous stuff. The weather has always been our main subject of communication. When I first was told Tornado Chasers was being produced, to say there was excitement in the family would be an understatement, and we have not been disappointed. The passion of those at the core of show is clear to see, and it is refreshing to know that it's not all about entertainment. The realism is there, I highly doubt that anyone who has watched it would say that there was excessive sugar-coating going on. The show is about how the job really is. As a teenager when the first season went online, it is safe to say not one of my peers knew what I was talking about, but my has that changed now. Tornado Chasers has showed people the beauty, the danger and the destruction that the weather can provide, without forgetting what storm chasing is all about.
