Am i the only one who thinks........Average?

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

The stories do not make any sense similar to Obama Presidency.

Just a short review on Homeland. The first 3 seasons were great for me. Score 9 out of 10! I liked the personal relations between the characters throughout these seasons. A lot of emotion and excitement! Now I'm in season 4 episode 9. Until now, it's very disappointing. The scenery is only Pakistan, no USA at all. The storyline is weak, just another hot shot terrorist that needs to be taken out. I miss the characters from the first 3 seasons, especially Brody of course. And not only that. Where is the tension and excitement in season 4??!!! Sometimes I almost felt asleep even. Never happened in the first 3!!! I really hope the following seasons will be like these first 3. Sorry if my English is not the best, I hope you'll forgive me, I'm from the Netherlands ;-)

I do not know where to even begin. This show is so bad it makes me sad. The first few seasons were fantastic but to enjoy the show now you need to really dumb yourself down. It is not worth your time there are dozens of shows now that are far better that actually make some sense. They do not have a lead that would not be allowed within miles of anyone of importance like Carrie is. It takes multiple seasons for someone to actually say "we are going to take your child" but in the real world it would have happened in a week. The plots/twists they have planned for us viewers are so easy to see through its creepy to watch. I love how they walk you down a road for ex: X is going to talk only we as the viewer know X is about to be compromised or killed at the end of the episode, we know it and of course it happens. You can do this once, twice but every episode? Claire Danes can act but every episode shes on the verge of cracking its unbearable. We get it, shes nuts but why keep making us witness this?

If you enjoy complex shows, & can live without constant action, chases, murder cases, then this is the show you shouldn't be missing. In it's 7th season, it's as fresh commentary on the state of our national security, & our nation as a whole as it was in the first season. Claire Daines is a firecracker that easily carries the weight of the show on her shoulders without as much as a shrug. The show reinvents itself every season in accordance to our own political atmosphere. There is absolutely nothing like it on TV, or ever has been. It's not an another CSI, & the takeaway is much greater than any CSI could offer. Bravo to SHO, CBS, Julie Chan for having such an interesting product. Best show on TV!
