Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

An old-fashioned movie made with new-fashioned finesse.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

The entire cast including the lead, Sixx Orange shined brightly throughout each episode even with the poorly written script, camerawork and editing. The acting skills of these kids were not fully taken advantage of and it sadden's me to realize how hard their careers must've been hit due to others at fault.

The Kicks is a perfect TV show for athletic teenagers as they can relate to it. In my opinion The Kicks is one of my favourite TV shows as I enjoy sports related shows/movies and this one hit my standards. Even though it is quite cliché, it has a great story line and is enjoyable to watch.I recommend this to young teens.I literally can not wait for the next season to come out. I hope the show stays fun and entertaining. Also the show is very encouraging for young girls to play sports or join a sports team. Great show, totally recommend it!

Oh yes... finally a win/win show for parents and kids. A family with real life struggles... both the parents and the kids learning to navigate change and relationships... but without the crummy way many shows display the adults as idiots. Love the family dynamics... siblings who are polar opposites and respond differently to their world but seem to be close despite that. My daughter connects with the main character and trying to fit in... finding her place and her role. My son is the one behind a computer screen, like lots of boys are and has his online friends like the younger brother. Looking forward to seeing how this show continues to develop the likable characters - from the family to the over-worked teaching staff. So real! So wonderful!
