Overrated and overhyped

Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

I just finished watching the entire season, and I throughly enjoyed it. I am too young to have seen the original series, but am loving this new reboot.There's a lot of criticism out there, and I would bet half of it is from people who like to watch NCIS type shows...if you catch my drift.Give a shot if you like space and SciFi, otherwise dont bother.

Based loosely on the title Lost In Space, this TV series was entertaining for the first few shows while things were being set up for later episodes. However, the writing and the way people think and behave becomes nearly nonsensical, and coincidences far far too numerous to keep the believability high. Most of the poor decisions from the characters are merely there to setup eventual plot changes and scenarios, and would never happen in a life-or-death survival situation with real humans.On the flip-side, the cinematography and special effects are quite effective and well done - especially the robot and it's backstory.This might be worth your time to watch, if you can't find anything better and are prepared to suspend belief in the form of irrational choices by all of the main characters. That may be par for the course in Hollywood cinema nowadays however.

The Robinsons and many other people train for years to venture into space. When they get there, albeit the wrong planet, they all forget the most important detail of all: communication. The characters go out of their way to avoid telling each other the most crucial information ALL THE TIME. The planet's dying; don't tell anyone. We have a traitor in our midst; shhh. We have plenty of fuel to leave; let's just hold onto that gem for several days. The writers also juxtapose reasonable activities, like actually practicing how to fly a stripped down ship, with physical liabilities, like water that freezes in seconds (but doesn't even seem cold to the purple sitting on it). I think I'd rather rewatch The Day After Tomorrow.

Easily the best show for 2018. Well written and produced, great job Netflix. I normally don't leave reviews, but after watching the entire season 1 in two days I must inform everyone to not miss out. Happy Binging!
