Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
... View MoreThe film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
... View Morea film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
... View MoreI enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
... View MoreSeason 4 started quite well, but now all this Dreyfuss thing becomes boring. Pluses: - changing the leading actress was a good move. - Tom Mison is doing a good job as an old stranded British in present. - Jobe shirtless :) Minuses: - choosing a 11 year old witness is transforming this series in an adventure movie for children only. - is highly unlikely that Agent Thomas can spend all her time chasing monsters, while having a job where she really must report what/when she is doing. - the same for Alex and Jake. Both seem to be copy/pasted from Scorpion ...Alex character is a copy/paste of grumpy mechanic freak Happy from Scorpion, even had a line with "not good"in some episode. Not good at all. Jake ( not very fortunate choice, sorry), very dull as the clumsy nerd - how are Crane and Jenny paid, they seem to have no financial issues, while having unrestricted access in the "Vault".Again, I hope the Dreyfuss thing will end somehow soon, hopefully it will not be dragged for the whole season.
... View MoreThis season is AWFUL (at least so far). Not as awful as ARROW, which is downright unwatchable (worst acting on TV, and that's saying something). The series has definitely jumped the shark. Killing off Katrina was a crime. Getting rid of the great John Noble, boneheaded. Tom Mison and Miss Beharie seem to be sleepwalking through their roles. Monster-of-the-week is a seventies thing (The X-FILES barely survived it, but they had the mythology). Moving to Atlanta was ridiculous. The Colonial nature of the show is paramount, yet the producers would rather get tax write-offs than make a quality series. At least Buffy the Vampire Slayer had romance and lots of laughs for their (generally) MOTW formula. SLEEPY HOLLOW has definitely jumped the shark. R.I.P. Mr. Mison can now go back to doing Shakespeare ....
... View MoreI can't think of another series where a character from Revolutionary times is brought into the present day to fight evil, so I am baffled at the last review that said it was "ordinary". You have to wonder what that person considers an extraordinary premise...Bed Bugs From Space? I love the sets, the lead characters are compelling, there are moments of genuine horror, scenes of great humor, and the flashbacks to Ichabod's life in Revolutionary times are great. The only characters I did not enjoy, Katrina and Henry, are gone so I hope that means we'll see more of the other actors in the series. I can't wait for Season 3 to begin, and hope there are many more seasons to come. Kudos to Fox for presenting such an original series.
... View MoreAn enthralling tale somewhere between Charmed, Angel and The Vampire Diaries...with some history mixed in it. Icabod Crane wakes up in the 21 century and is shocked to find the Headless Horseman still roaming the streets. A much bigger mystery unravels while the dangers in Sleepy Hollow are at their highest. An unimaginable evil, much greater than the Headless Horseman will force Icabod and company to fight until they exhaust their every resource. If you love stories about demons and mystical creatures packed with a lot of action, drama, adventure and just a dash of horror, this is definitely your show. You also wouldn't miss on the classic well- manneredness of the gentlemen from the 1700s.
