Really Surprised!
... View Morei know i wasted 90 mins of my life.
... View MoreThe performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.
... View MoreThere is definitely an excellent idea hidden in the background of the film. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find it.
... View MoreThis show is appalling! Who in their right mind would want to watch this? I never liked how Sagwa treated her brother as a kid and I can't imagine any kid who would! That show is nothing but a Garfield rip-off, and her brother's a wannabe Odie.First of all, if you're going to make a kids show (educational), don't make the main character a jerk. I wonder how many kids have learn nothing from watching this.Second, make a show that's easy to spell. I tried like one time putting it on the annoying laugh page on TV.Tropes & I mispelled it. I was eventually able to copy and paste it on Idea wiki.I could rant for several more paragraphs about this, but the review I copied from TV.com had stop here. I just hope everyone didn't get offended like last time.
... View MoreAs a cat-lover, I love this show. It's so cute with beautiful colors in the backgrounds, interesting characters, and great short stories that teach valuable lessons in the historical setting of turn-of-the-century China. I do love shows and movies that are set in Asia (China, Japan and India too), like "The Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise and set in Japan. And I also love Chinese films like "Hero" (or "Ying xiong").My favorite characters from the show are Sagwa herself, her best friend Fu-Fu the funny bat and lastly Sagwa's little sister Sheegwa she's SO cute! As for characters I hate, I hate Tai-Tai for being a social-climber and the way she has her husband wrapped around her finger; I hate hen-peckers. So anyway, that is all I have to say about this cartoon series is that I really love it.
... View Morei appreciate that sesame workshop is trying to show diverse cultures... but i just wish that more of the cast was actually chinese, or at least asian. i just think that it's strange that the characters are chinese, but the voices aren't. sometimes the characters use chinese phrases, and i feel like some of the voice actors don't really have mastery over the chinese language; so they don't have a realistic accent.overall it's good show, and it's really fun for the kids. i know sesame workshop is doing the best it can to provide quality shows.
