Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

This has got to be the worst series on Netflix. He "jokes" are lame, the characters are pathetic, and if the parents are so stupid family services would've taken him away from them. This show is so bad that they had to give it a second season to confirm that the first one was not an aberration.

Had to babysit my wife's younger siblings so they put this show on and I watched it. Boy I wish I could get those hours of my life back. The show was worse than I expected it to be and my standards weren't high to begin with. Where to start is the next question. I loved the original movie and thought this couldnt be too bad. Was I wrong. The characters are not relatable at all and are extremely annoying. The only normal and decent character is ironically the one that is supposed to be a robot. His two friends are unbearable. The girl is super annoying and just leeches off him. Stereotypical leech. Spends the money but adds nothing but corny lines that sound like she is trying too hard. His other friend is a typical nerdy scrawny type with a Jewish stereotype about money. His constant whining grates on you and his "catchphrase" isn't funny or original. The sister is bearable. Typical jealous older sister character so can't really complain or criticize. Adds the brother/sister sibling rival aspect. The father is over the top ridiculous. Nothing funny about the stupid parent character. It's cut and paste from almost every other kids show that had clueless parents. Specifically an unaware father with no common sense. How cps hasn't been called yet is a bigger mystery than how a child created a renewable energy source. The robot maid is out of place for a kid who hasn't hit puberty yet and in no way should really care about how a female looks. That being said I laughed at her lines the most shes really the only reason I kept any real interest in the show. She's very easy on the eyes. The plot is nonexistent. It follows the same format as other shows of this type. Two places at once. Setting the single parent up on a date. Mostly stuff that bows up in their face to finish the episode and bring about a conclusion. There really is nothing redeemable about this show. It isn't clever and it isnt funny. The six kids that I watched this with (7-13) didn't laugh at all and they are the type to laugh at the word poop. That speaks volumes about this shows quality.

This has gotta be the cheesiest show I've seen in a long time, a cross between bad sitcom and lame children's program. I wasn't such a huge fan of the original 1990's Richie Rich films, but at least they retained the characters to some degree like Reggie and Cadbury. As for this show, Richie Rich's altruism, meant to break the stereotype that all rich people are greedy and callous, is nearly all but dissolved, and instead we're left with an obnoxious brat and his annoying, unmemorable friends. Not a lot actually happens during this show's dismal one-season run, and what does happen just comes across mostly as corny antics that go nowhere. It wasn't even enough to entertain my five-year-old cousin for longer than three minutes, let alone viewers who are any older, but then again, this is Netflix, which has a habit of buying up the rights to great books and films and turning them into terrible adaptations. This is just my opinion, but the only shows created by Netflix that I even remotely like are the ones that try something new and innovative with never-before-seen plots, not the same regurgitated stuff that's already been done before. I'm not saying adapting Richie Rich was a bad thing, but couldn't they have at least tried to make it genuinely funny and different instead of hokey and stupid?

At first I hated it but the more I watched it the more I liked it. The writing is bad. The jokes are bad but sometimes their funny. I did get attached to the characters especially Harvor she is just really pretty. This show isn't that bad it just needs some better back backgrounds better writing better plots and better jokes
