it is finally so absorbing because it plays like a lyrical road odyssey that’s also a detective story.

... View MoreIt is hilarious. The characters may well all be Hollywood stereotypes but it works maybe people who watch it should stop taking it so seriously and maybe watch it for what it is... a comedy. Pearce is so funny and weird, and Patton is amazingly well cast. (Apparently it is scientifically proved that the shorter a teenage boy is, the more testosterone he has, which certainately proves true in Patton's case) . Its a shame it only ran for one series. Quintuplets is also an interesting look in to the family life of those with twins, triplets, quints etc. as unrealistic as it may be it is certainly an interesting premise and very amusing for the public to watch. My complaints about the show are that although Paige in theory is a funny character, the actress just can't deliver the lines effectively. Overall this is a great show, just remember not to take it seriously.
... View MoreI can't help but relate to 9/10ths of this show. It is so true to the point of being a teenager these days, it makes it seem like it was made by a 16-year-old. Although it does seem like a waste of Andy Rictor's talent, the whole concept of the 5 teenagers in public school, each with their own perks and downfalls, is quite funny, but also relatable. Take it from a 16 year-old, I know what I'm talking about when I say that it accurately portrays the life of the modern day teen. Each episode seems to cover a variety of different parts of life as a teenager. I just got finished watching 1 of the episodes. It covers these; -having your girlfriend/boyfriend reject you -homosexuality (both genders) -the terror of extracurricular activities -etc. There really seems only to be 1 downfall, the parents. They are given too much dialog for undeveloped characters.
... View MoreI have seen a couple of episodes of this show and all I can say is, "Why? Why, Andy?"First off, I am sick of the hot wife/below average looking husband theme that is plaguing sitcoms (According to Jim, King of Queens). Another thing that makes this show a crapbox is the writers decided that we are all a bunch of idiots. We are to believe that among a group of 5 children, WITHIN THE SAME FAMILY, each one is a bad Hollywood sterotype? Please. I would like to think that I am a little more intelligent than that. Also, the "pretty" daughter's acting is beyond horrible - but I guess that just goes to show that if you have a pretty face and a hot ssa then you can find work in Hollywood. The writing and cast is so bad that it's even bringing Richter down to their level! The only real bright spot is the one that plays Patton. At least he knows how to make he's crappy lines funny.2/10...at it's best.
... View MorePoor Andy Richter. He had a great gig on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Then he left and started doing films. He got his own TV series - "Any Richter Controls the Universe" - which was a pretty good show, and like all good TV shows, got cancelled. Now, he ends up with THIS. This is one of the most insipid little programs ever to hit the airwaves. It is all that is bad about cheesy sitcoms, and worse. However, unlike (for example) "Here's My Bush", this isn't a spoof. Nope, this is just raw badness served up to the masses. All I can say is, avoid this unless you like constant lame jokes accompanied by a laugh track. Even Andy knows this show sucks, but hey he has to pay the bills.
