Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.

Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.

I'll admit, I'm a fan of many Disney movies, including the Toy Story Trilogy, The Small One, and recently, Wreck-it Ralph. However, if poor Walt Disney was alive today, he would've fired anyone on how low Disney Channel sunk like the Titanic. So, get ready for a TV show so atrocious, your brain will blow itself out.The majority of this abomination is the character inconsistencies. I mean, all the characters in this show have the same IQ as Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants. Look what this show did to poor Donald Duck! Normally, he would have fits and tantrums whenever somebody annoys him. But in this show, he's a f------ nice guy! Jiminy crickets! What have they done to you, Donald?! What have they done?!! I feel sorry for all the characters in this show because the writers dumbed them down just for the kids. Can you imagine if they made a kiddie show out of One Piece and they made all the characters have IQs of Goofy? I F------ DON'T!!! There's also this catchphrase "Miska Mooska Mickey Mouse." What the hell that does mean?! And at the end of each episode, there's this annoying song playing while all the characters look like they had a bunch of squirrels shoved down their underwear. Wait, I'm sorry, they're dancing? Well, their dancing suck so bad that they make London Tipton from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody look like Fred Astaire.I am losing hope on Disney Channel because they dumbed down childhood favorites from classic Mickey Mouse cartoons just for the toddlers. Now I know how Benthelooney feels.

They don't call Disney the "Mouse House" for nothing. There's no question that Mickey Mouse is the king of the classic Disney cartoon characters. He's iconic, memorable, and almost every Disney fan and cartoon fan in general knows his name. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is perhaps the latest show to have him as a star, and for some bizarre reason, they decided to create a show aimed at preschoolers. The show follows the same interactive formula used in two Nick Jr. shows, Blues Clues & Dora the Explorer. The main character interacts with the viewer and asks him/her for help on a certain something. In addition to Mickey's familiar pals like Minnie, Donald, and Goofy, there are some elements that are exclusive to the show such as the clubhouse itself, a floating mouse-eared device named "Toodles", and the "Mousketools" the device usually carries. There are some bright sides to the show. It teaches children creative skills and problem solving, and that is a very important thing to teach to children nowadays, because there is no creativity when it comes to television for kids and tweens. This was an odd route Disney chose to reintroduce their mascot to new generations of kids. With the character's track record of being on shows such as Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse, Mickey's no stranger to television. But, an interactive "edutainment" show for preschoolers does not seem like a very good fit for him. I don't think rendering the characters into 3D CGI was the best idea either, but the show sure did work. I know someone whose daughter watches the show and now also watches the original Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts by Walt Disney himself because of it.

"oh wow! a new cartoon starring mickey mouse!" i watched this with my two younger cousins one day, unfortunately this show is a piece of crap. what has come to the magic world of Disney? they have killed mickey mouse & his friends by turning them into 3D/CG horrors & make them educate kids by sounding like idiots. there is a load of annoying/overused catchphrases, not-so-very educational material, & breaking the fourth wall which is not as entertaining anymore after the late 60s (saturday morning shows have killed fourth wall breaking jokes & shows) what also makes this show bad is a horrifying theme song which the gang dance like retards to (especially goofy) and the lyrics are as ear-bleeding as the musical numbers in most Disney movies. (ugh...) Walt Disney must be spinning in his liquid nitrogen grave.

My 3 yr old LOVES this. I can't wait until they come out with the DVD. The other guy that left a -100 / 10 comment is an idiot, and obviously he doesn't have any children (who should be watching this) It teaches basic learning skills without being intimidating to children. Sure its a lot like Dora the Explorer, but its all English (Dora and Diego confuse my daughter when they switch between English and Spanish) This is fantastic fun for children under 5. My daughter runs around singing the mickey mouse clubhouse song. Its cute.Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the first computer generated (CG) 3-D animation television series to feature the "Sensational Six." Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto star in this series, which focuses on interactivity with its primarily preschool-aged audience to stimulate problem solving. Each episode involves the characters helping its viewers to "solve a specific age-appropriate problem utilizing basic skills, such as identifying shapes and counting through ten." The series uses Playhouse Disney's "whole child" curriculum of cognitive, social and creative learning opportunities.
