At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

In light of the John K situation, I won't judge the show based on him or his incidents. Anyway, what can I say? Ren and Stimpy is a fun and creepy cartoon to watch. While it may not be for everyone, the whole show seem to follow the path that some future cartoons had done - grossout genre, and now there's a dozen storyboard driven cartoons as well. On its merit, the show's animation is one of the best aspects. It's so smooth that it managed to stay fluid throughout most of it run. Props mainly go to Carbunkle Cartoons and Rough Draft Studios for their work. Writing wise, during the first 3 seasons, it's nearly hit. Not too many lame moments and there's only a few misses. Afterwards, it still hits but there's moments that made you shake your head. As for characters, Ren is definitely my favorite character and I can relate to him at times. He's just constantly funny with his outbursts and stuff. Stimpy is a fun character as well and still had his moments, but he doesn't beat Ren. There's other good background characters but we don't see them that much. I like that the BGM basically uses Associated Production Music which is also best known for being used in SpongeBob. I loved both opening and ending themes as well. Voice acting is full of energy. I enjoyed both voices for Ren. Billy West does a fine job as Stimpy. So does the guest stars/recurring cast. Aside from the occasional duds, it's still an enjoyable show. If you don't easily get grossed out like I do, this show is for you. And yes, I still recommend the Games Animation era. Definitely one of the most influenced cartoons ever. Unfortunately, those inspired cartoons doesn't hold a candle to this as they're more gross. This is gross out humor done right.

"The Ren & Stimpy Show" is just a gross show. Not like "South Park" (a show that reminds us to not overly adore our idols) or "Beavis & Butthead" (which looks at the culture of stupidity that pervades our society). As far as I could tell, the purpose of this show was to be repulsive just for the hell of it. It seems as if every episode is stuff about bodily function humor. It's really not good that so much of what passes for children's shows is this sort of stuff. True, the tykes find urination and defecation entertaining, but wouldn't it be better to prepare them for the world? My point is, I do NOT recommend this show. Even if it's not disgusting, it's borderline cruel. Just avoid it.

This show was pure, off the wall, random hilarity. Not your typical cartoon in the least. It relied on visuals that, at times, pushed the envelope of rude and crude. Things like Stimpy's 'nose goblin' collection stuck to the bottom of a table or Ren getting the nerves plucked out of his tooth sockets were right up there. It would be difficult to pick a favorite episode but Space Madness was definitely one of the funniest. Some of the characters they came up with were hilarious in themselves. The Horse, Powdered Toast Man, and the Belly Button Fairy were among my favorites. I started watching it in my younger adult years and it was clearly not something I wanted my 5 year old watching, nor would he have understood some of the dark comedic overtones. All I know is, it was funny, edgy, and pure comedy for the sick minded humorist. I remain a fan to this day.

Nickeolodeon really did it with themselves in the 1990s when a "naughty" little show called Ren and Stimpy premiered as that would change the face of TV.John K really outdid himself. As the show changed the way that we look at cartoons. And how we got shows like South Park and Family Guy. These are not cartoons for little kids as one of the reviewers mentioned.Naught but funny, gross and abrasive, but clever. Ren the little nasty tempered chihulua and Stimpy the fat happy go lucky cat. Go beyond the thing called toilet humor. With help from a cast of other cartoon supporting players. And how the show nearly got kicked off of Nickeolodeon due to being nasty and gross. But it has since become a cult favorite for all generations that grew up with it and will begin to like it.Gross and nasty but funny and a riot at it's best.
