It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

When I first watched Lost Girl I was just looking for something to remind of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and even though I got that, I also got a legitimately fun show. Lost Girl at the beginning was just fantastic; it had good acting, a cool world, and a really interesting story. I think the fist two seasons of this show were just perfect, then season three happened and it was really good but it did have a notable flaw. What I liked about the following season most were the characters; Bo was bad ass, Kenzie was hilarious, Lauren was just so likable, and Trix just had that kind while wise sage thing going on. What I wasn't too keen about with this season was the story because it was pretty much just a bunch of random episodes that only really tried to tell a season arc at the end. Next came season four, which was another perfect season. It had everything I liked about the first two seasons while adding just enough new things to keep it interesting and it ended with a nail biting finale. Lost Girl wrapped everything up with season five which I sort of hate. Okay, hate might be an exaggeration but I really didn't like the last season because it just felt like a big mess; the story didn't make a whole lot of sense, it wasn't as epic as this show's final season should've been, and it introduced some really annoying new characters. I'll give season five credit for having an awesome villain and the same main characters I love were still there, but the finale of the series was just a disappointment that, despite having its moments, didn't have a large enough scope or stakes to make it interesting. Even though I wasn't particularly fond of the final season I still think Lost Girl is a great show, the journey getting to the final season is just a a really fun time and when you do get there it has enough of the show's charm to make it watchable. Overall Lost Girl is for the most part an all around awesome show with a ton of enjoyable moments and I would definitely recommend it for any fantasy, drama, or action fans out there.

Let's start saying that this show never made it to Italy. Sometimes i think because of the too much w/w interaction.anyway... i really loved the show... and till season for for me it was a 10... then things started to happen and horrible characters appeared and some arks were developed in a confusing way. In the last two seasons i liked more the fillers that the rest. But i kept loving the characters. The relationships.Well that was one of the more interesting things for me about the show... aside the Fae obviously. I loved all the types of creatures they showed us and so on but i have to admit i was a sucker for the sentimental part of it. Why? Being bi i loved to see a things like this. I loved how it wasn't a problem for anyone, i liked how it was normal and yeah, s**t hit the fan more than once but not because of a gender thing, but just because of feelings. So yeah, i loved all the dynamics between BO/Lauren/Dyson... it was really interesting to see. I loved Kenzi so much too. She was funny and bold and had some major moments where she was troubled because she was a human in a Fae world, and not someone who to the eyes of the others was useful like Lauren (even is she was a slave too anyway). In the eyes of the other Fae out of her group, she was just a pet.and then i loved Tam. She was one of my favorite characters. She was strong and weak at the same time, she was amazing.I started to love the actors pretty soon. Especially Zoie Palmer that has such a great intensity in her eyes, i think is the thing i will always remember the most. Her acting, her eyes.So... yeah... i love the characters, the Fae, the feelings, everything about it. And i was a bit upset about the things that happened in the last two seasons and all the confusion. But even with that... i couldn't give the show less than 8.

I don't mean "confusing" in an intellectual way (which is impossible with this series); I'm puzzled as to why this show tries to be adult (with sexuality & blood), but then nullifies said mature theme with the CHEESIEST lines & acting I have heard & seen in a long time. It's as if the writers picked out a "Cheesy Lines For Dummies" handbook & crammed 50 years of unoriginal 1-liners into every episode.I watched ALL 5 seasons hoping it would get better. I generally liked each episode's ideas & how expansive they got with each supernatural theme. But the acting & dialogue killed that enjoyment (esp. that of Ksenia Solo). Personally, the only people who brought anything likable (in terms of acting) to this show were Zoey Palmer & Paul Amos. All in all, if you're a supernatural, sci-fi, fantasy obsessor like me, you'll cringe, but still enjoy it all.SPOILER ALERT: If Ksenia had been killed off in ANY of the seasons, I would have changed my rating to a 7.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. So mad they ended it when it was getting better and better. I think it's ridiculous that they ended it, but this was one of my favoritesKenzi was like gold, but Lauren seemed a little bit dull. Tamzin, trick & everyone else just fit perfectly together, and when they introduced Greek mythology I just went crazy (being a huge fan of Greek mythology). Adding Zeus as a female was genius and making the gods look more believable if you will, by making them more... human let's say.Reminded me a lot of supernatural, would have been cool if there were vampires in this though (I would have liked to see what they would have done with that). All in all this show was genius, I'll never forget this one, it is engraved in my heart. I was heartbroken when they ended it.
