This show has something for everyone. Action,Story, Drama,Sex and most of it all, Fantasy elements at its best. The story has a lot of variety and interesting characters from all kinds Myth. This is not a show which can end with just five seasons.the lore in this story is so vast. You get everything and some more when your protagonist is a Succubus. The Writers never disappoint there. The cast is good and Anna Silk plays the perfect Bo. The dialogues are witty, humorous and really fun.The pop culture references will definitely make the show enjoyable. But the show is not without flaws. I just wish that Tansin had more screen time. For all those who love a good fantasy give Lost Girl a try. Will be worth your time. But expect a raw and crude humor most of the time. But if u r like me and enjoy a good supernatural and fantasy show with a variety, this show is for u!!.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. So mad they ended it when it was getting better and better. I think it's ridiculous that they ended it, but this was one of my favoritesKenzi was like gold, but Lauren seemed a little bit dull. Tamzin, trick & everyone else just fit perfectly together, and when they introduced Greek mythology I just went crazy (being a huge fan of Greek mythology). Adding Zeus as a female was genius and making the gods look more believable if you will, by making them more... human let's say.Reminded me a lot of supernatural, would have been cool if there were vampires in this though (I would have liked to see what they would have done with that). All in all this show was genius, I'll never forget this one, it is engraved in my heart. I was heartbroken when they ended it.

One of the best series I have seen in a very long time, next to Grimm, as it is a myriad of myth, mystery and magic. Phenomenal acting and wonderful plots.I hope to see more coming, craving for more from the brilliant cast that has made the show more epic from episode to episode. It is definitely worth the watch and has become one of my top 10.I would have hoped however, that there was more of a transformation element in the series. The elements of Myth is very extensive and had a blast to compare my knowledge of myth with the vivacious and valorous Bo, considering that mythical lore is one of my favorite subjects. Hence my fervent rant.I hope that others enjoy the series as much as I have.

Lost Girl-- This show started out with great promise. I found it on Netflix and quickly did a Netflix marathon of the two seasons that were available and then scrounged around the web to find the episodes to catch up on season 3.I greatly enjoyed season 1. Bo was kicking butt and we, the audience, were with her learning about this new life she now has. I loved the trusty sidekick in Kenzi with her smart mouth; Dyson and Hale working cases that were on the more . . . difficult to explain side; and of course, Trick, the wise Fae who is looking out for Bo. Season 1 had a lot of great energy, interesting story lines, and overall, just a great plot that was moving along. Then season 2 (followed by 3 and 4) happened. I don't know if I was just bored with the story or what. What was once a "MUST SEE EVERY EPISODE OR I'LL DIE" attitude, has now become blasé. I feel like the writers are pushing the characters into a direction that feels forced instead of natural. As the seasons have progressed, I had considered Bo to be this powerful Fae who is kicking butt and taking names, but seems now meek and more human rather than being this awesome Fae. What was once this great direction, now has many of the characters written in a way that is almost a complete 180 from where the show started (and not in a good way).I love how the show is big on showing relationships between same genders. I think we need more of this on TV; however, Bo was once this dynamic character and for the writers to have "Doccubus" they have written her as a static character trying to be dynamic but not succeeding. And to say the least, I am so over this love triangle. C'mon, writers, just resolve this. I am tired of watching episode after episode of Bo going back-and-forth. JUST PICK ONE ALREADY AND STAY WITH IT. The writers focus so much on Bo's love interest, the story gets pushed to the side and feels like it is thrown together.I wasn't able to finish season 4 and I may catch up when new episodes start appearing in 2015, but I am not holding out hope when there are other shows that have kept my interest continually.
