Good start, but then it gets ruined

It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

I hope that they will put the show back on TV and DVD. Recently bought the complete first season which was released in Holland. And it is awesome. Like the whole cast, and Dave character is great! All the drama and thriller aspects. Entangeld with sci-fi elements. Sometimes you can even indulge human behavior on our society nowadays. There are assholes on both sides is what the storyline tells us, but without telling you who really is an asshole. And even there is one season it is fulfilling the red line in the storyline. Alltough it has one big cliffhanger in the end that has to be unfold in a second season. But the main red line of the story of the first season has been unfold.

Very good TV show, with no end. William Fichtner(love him in a Prison Break) as sheriff and Eddie Cibrian as Russell was great acting. Very original way to see invasion on earth, there is something in the water, as you watch show you discovering what it is, is it good or is it bad, does it make people better, or make it worse...very interesting, and than what, end of the show :( . Acting was good, production was good, effect was god...Invasion have everything to become great TV show. I see many TV shows that are much worse than this one, and they have 4, 5 season. I really hate those TV network who start something, and doesn't finished. It is great contempt to fans of show, and it is not all right. I am very disappointed.

This show is very underrated and not very popular but it is definitely worth a watch.As the description says it all begins in the aftermath of a hurricane. The hurricane changed everything, and everyone in the city knows it but no-one knows exactly what's going on. You're going to be blown away by William Fichtner acting, he is a brilliant actor, very intense, and what he began here, he mastered in prison break.He just stoles the show. Unfortunately,sometimes nothing seems good enough and Invasion was canceled. It was absolutely unfair and this show deserved a 2nd season but i guess that's how the entertainment world works.So, if you're looking for a mysterious but still believable sci-fi series with a cool plot and great acting this is it.

I absolutely loved this show. I hate that it was cancelled leaving its followers with the conclusion unfinished. It really left the person watching with a sense of unfinished plot which is not good if you want to keep a following for your writers and stations. It has really made me hesitant about watching any other shows coming from that business. I fear now that it is too late to pick the show up again as most of the actors have now found other characters to play on other shows. It really was a great show.
