I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

We started watching this show after reading the blurb and thinking 'this is our thing!' For the first 5/6 episodes it was really interesting, the clostrophobic nature of it, being stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a supernatural force taking over the town, no way out, no help, food and supplies running short, one person who could see what was going on but the town hated him.THEN......about half way through...... it turns out it's the big bad corporation who were experimenting etc etc etc, why can no one write something that's original, someone on here mentioned Under The Dome, same, half way through it's the big bad corporation and so on.If it was up to me I'd say no to a season 2, there is no need for it at all, remove the show from the remote location there is no show!

The first episode only just caught my attention, I thought it was going to be a another angst, misery driven loss; however I made it to episode 2 and now I'm hooked. I like the balanced mix of sci-if and paranormal, plus it keeps you guessing, you don't know where it's going but you kind of feel you're part of the journey. While dark and brooding, the characters have depth and mesh well together. Plus, it's timed well enough that you need to see the next episode!

Soft spoilers without giving away anything of the actual story.The story is compelling and exciting to watch, great job there. The end however ruins a lot. Too many questions left unanswered, quite anti-climatic, there's quite a logic gap as well and the main character seems to act out of character.Besides of that: 6/10 stars. If the ending wasn't as...well bad as it is it would be a 9.

Ghost Wars is Under the Dome meets every supernatural show you have ever seen the last decades. From major themes to small details, nothing is even slightly original. The acting is at best, mediocre. There are scenes where you crave for some kind of climax from an actor or actress, but nothing happens. There are even some so obvious directing mistakes that is laughable. The end result is boring and a complete mess. Nothing seems to work, you don't really care for the characters and it will be a shame to give this show a second season because something much better could take its place.
