This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

"Alice, I Think" is a great show!!! Finally there's a show out there in the TV universe that is funny and that can be seen by people of all ages: it's not "too stupid" for adults to watch it and not "too dirty" for kids (ok, there's a few references to sex, but nothing that should keep a child away). In fact, different ages can have a laugh for different reasons: from the funny faces to the witty comments, to the not-at-all-witty ones. And with actors of all ages, there's something for everyone. And I love the fact that it's 100% Canadian... a good change from all the shows shot in Canada that change the names of cities so that it "seems" everything takes place in America... hey, Yankees aren't the only ones who can make good TV! I wish I could go to see the real Smithers, one day! I really REALLY hope it goes on for many years, and can't wait for the DVDs to come out.

Not typically the type of show that we watch but I've been sucked in by Alice I Think. It's witty, simple and not over-the-top. Oddly enough, while based on books aimed at teens, the humour definitely has an adult theme at points (like The Simpsons). The collection of actors is very captivating. From the Gemini-nominated Rebecca Northan (read a nice Q&A article with Rebecca in U magazine published by her alma mater U. of Calgary - search for it on their site) to the relative newcomer with the large resume Connor Price (see him with Russell Crowe in Cinderella Man) to the hard-working and multi-talented Dan Payne (Stargate, multiple Muppets projects, multiple other movies), Carly McKillip has a great 'supporting' cast (she's no slouch either). Of course, Carly is the title character but her family takes on an equally important role in portraying this quirky BC family.I think this show will need about another 5-6 episodes under its belt before we fully understand each character a bit better. We've seen glimpses of John's persona when he dreamt of a Tetris-filled life and saw his 'paranoia' with fame after his rookie photo shoot. I still think that Diane and Mac need some more time until we see who they really are. The other true supporting cast member (Marcus, Finn,...) are slowly rounding out as well.Overall, very enjoyable. Hopefully will be around for a while.

I had the chance to see the premier episode and I fell in love with it. I unfortunately live in the US and it probably won't be shown here but I have friends in Canada that might be able to tape it for me and send it down so I can see the future episodes. I love Dan Payne, he's fantastic in Stargate SG1 and Atlantis and I was incredibly pleased to see he had a new series. I've been lucky enough to meet him at conventions for the Stargate shows and I found out then that he was a comic genius. So, when I heard he was doing a comedy I couldn't wait to see it. I laughed out load and identified with his character as being much like my dad. I thoroughly enjoyed the show and hope it stays on the air forever. The cast worked well together and the storyline was well written, even the set was amazing, I love the house. I put my vote out there as excellent and I do hope Dan and the others have a long run and can make people laugh for many years to come. Kim

I was fortunate enough to attend the private premiere of the half hour comedy series, Alice I think. We watched Episode 6 and 10. I think that the series has the right ingredients to be successful as a Canadian production. The acting is good and the characters well cast. There will be a lot of teenage girls that will relate to the Carly McKillip character, Alice and a lot of teenage boys that will be fantasizing about being Alice's boyfriend. The two episodes that we watched did a good job of mixing, believability, relatability and humor. Dan Payne's performance as Alice's dad will definitely have people tuning in to see what will happen next. I look forward to its general release.
