Sorry, this movie sucks

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Actress is magnificent and exudes a hypnotic screen presence in this affecting drama.

Awful. Just awful. Why is the dispatch listening in on calls for the outcome? That CPR on the drowning victim looked like a relaxing massage and then suddenly he's breating and smiling. Not how it works, sorry. Why is there a fire engine belting around with lights and sirens for the firefighter to then go and have sex with some random woman? Why did the firefighter go at the wall with an axe when there was a baby inside?! Why did the baby come out of the pipe all plastic looking and bald and then when they got to the hospital presumably a few minutes later it had grown a head full of hair? Turned it off after this. So ridiculous. Did the producer even spend time with a dispatcher or emergency services at all? Horrible.

Unrealistic, not even remotely close to anything relating to genuine emergency services. Worst I have ever seen in fact. An hour I'll never get back again.

I had high hopes for this show. There's some good actors in this series, so naturally one would think a series of this magnitude is bound to be great. However, the story just does not reflect well the life of first responders. This is simply just anothersoap opera series with ridiculous emergency situations.

I stopped watching after the first two episodes because I thought it was whatever. Then I heard someone on the kevin & bean show say it's a whole lot better after those episodes. Now I ended up binging the rest of the first season, and it's amazing.
