I saw this show when it first came out in 2010 and have really liked it every since then. The acting is very swell along with the story lines to keep up with. It is a striving cast who works with with interacting with each others characters in a way of sense. The engagement in the character's moods and tone make it more interesting to watch. Rookie Blue is never a dull moment watching and makes me not want to take my enlisted eyes of the TV screen. They all do their job correctly in the sense of the relationships between the cops and their actions. All of the story lines have my mind into a set of entertainment and the action gets me hooked on the couch wondering how it all is going to match up. Although, officer Mcnally never shows her appreciation as much as she should when someone hands her something, she is a caring gal who strives to make her relationship with Sam work who is a fun and caring guy who is perfect for her.

I absolutely love this TV series!!! Its not just another "cop" show, its so much more, its witty, sexy, funny, and has strong female roles, which a lot of shows does not really have now a days. I cant wait for season 4 to come out in box set to get it. I have 1-3! and Im excited for season 5 to start! the only sad thing about this, is that its not on netflix!! and a lot of people seem to get kidnapped.... you would think them being cops they wouldn't get kidnapped this much... I do love females that are the "leading" role, each of them are strong in their on way, and makes a good name for women! it shows we can be strong in a job for men. Plus the men who are in the leading roles are great too!! All the characters gel so well together!!! and you want to get to know each one of them, and go through the story with them.

I was interested in this Canadian TV show and decided to give it a go. I watched the episode about so-called "Asian gang triads". This episode is full of racist slander. I mean, a group of mediterranean cops (self-proclaimed Americans) that try to breach in an "asian triad". Everyone knows that Chinese triads are all foreigners that operate in the West. Western-born Chinese people are all straight-A students and very Westernized (i.e. no accent, highly-educated). How come they even attempt to portray 2nd generation Asian-Americans as triad-members? It woul be like portraying those mediterranean cops as Italian gang members. It is totally outrageous and very pathetic of these amateur Canadians. In one scene, a white policeman keeps saying "Here, Kenny, Kenny Kenny,...", referring to "Kenny Chan". What this white man means is that Asian people are dogs. It's actually shown on TV channels worldwide. They show a black police woman to balance the racism out.To sum it all up, it's a group of Italian- and Wester-European immigrants in Canada that put up a huge amount of racist slander/lies about 2nd generation Asian-Americans. Avoid using your bandwidth for this racist Italian garbage. I gave it 1 star, because I couldn't choose 0. Rookie Blue is the most racist TV shows of the recent years.Utterly disappointed. Avoid wasting your time on this.

Rookie Andy is so stupid sometimes-I marvel that the writers can't possibly make her look dumber; but they do! In tonight's episode she loses her gun-TWICE to the same psycho. She never does radio her position or for backup, just blunders into a cooler to help a little girl that was abducted by the psycho, stereotypically like the barely clad coed going into the dark basement to investigate a strange noise; just in time to lose her gun again and be taken hostage by the psycho. At one point, while the perp was pointing his gun at Andy I was saying SHOOT, SHOOT, get rid of her, she's too dumb to be a rent a cop. In real life she would only get herself killed and probably someone near at the time. These guys just won't shoot in a simple shoot or let a killer run off situation. In tonight's episode Deputy Andy's backup has the psycho running away from him with a bag full of guns & arms and keeps yelling stop, stop, but just can't pull the trigger on a perp to protect the public. He has to come to a locked door to be stopped. Cops in real life in big cities have to use their guns. And this guy had just stolen a little girl and was known to be armed. But just let the perp run away without shooting him. Makes no sense. I would love to see SNL do a sendup of this show. Deputy Andy could lose her gun, get dragged off, and yell 'Oh $#@* I lose more guns this way'. Like some teenagers lose cells. This show is so canuck EH! Love canucks. Maybe they need to find some writers that have some more logical and believable ideas. While I don't watch cop shows for law lessons, I would also like to not have to suspend all belief just to watch. In short: for the season finale, the writing truly sucked. Boog
