If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

9 out of 10 if you enjoy this kind of movie making but some will hate it because they take movie making a tad too seriously at times. Would've got a 10 out of 10, if not for the rather boring intro. Other than that, i am sure it may work a little better in it's original language, but having two guys overdub the ENTIRE cast, really increases the storytelling tenfold. When two people are trying to act as an entire crowd of people, it's pretty charming to see and you gotta admire their gall, for thinking they coulda gotten away with it. One thing that genuinely does rock, is the atmosphere. It's REAL depressing style camera stock ( i couldn't tell what it was filmed on, probably a home cam-corder). Andreas Schnaas' movies have that one thing about them at least. That feel of cold, impending doom, no matter where it is shot. It really is VERY German in it's feel. Think of the German Underground art-house/movie making scene, and this is what this feels like. Very moody. There is more than a little gore. In fact, there is tonnes of offal, bones, brains, arms, legs, heads flying about the place. You name it, it gets cut off/out. Some effects verge on the ludicrous, some you have to say are well made seeing as it would seem the budget stretches to ....oh at least.....10 dollars. AND at the very least, there's some sense that they made sure there were some unique slayings throughout, even if not too many come off too well. The story is ....what it is.....whatever. What i recall was absurd at best, but i can't see the filmmakers caring too much either. The zombies are a band of musclebound hoodlums in slipknot style masks, controlled by 'Miester' and they generally run around into each other in a panic whilst being beaten to bloody pulps and stumps by a band of travelling ninjas? or something? again, what's there to care about? All in all, these kind of films are viewed for a specific reason, and if you can forgive the uber-cheap budget, then this delivers on the gory fx. And the dialogue and bizarre randomness of the situations and story might have you crying with laughter thanks to the dubbers efforts. TOP STUFF!

Wow...I can't believe just how bad ZOMBIE DOOM (aka VIOLENT SH!T 3) really is. I'd heard the rumors, read the reviews - but had to make my mind up for myself. Well, let me tell ya - IT BLOWS!!! The worst acting of any film ever made, dubbing that must have been done while everyone involved was completely wasted, inept and laughable gore FX, no discernible plot, "cinematography" that looks like my grandma filmed it with her camcorder, weapons props that are no joke - made out of tin-foil - the list goes on and on...Three guys get stranded on an island where a bunch of weirdos run around with plastic and tin-foil swords. Two of the captives are freed along with a rebel of the island freaks, and are given a day's head start before they are hunted down by the rest of the "tribe"...that's pretty much it...Honestly - this is one of THE WORST films I've ever had the misfortune to subject myself too. The budget had to be about $200 and was spent entirely on the gore FX (which actually may not have been a bad idea...). There is NOTHING to ZOMBIE DOOM other than strung-together ridiculous looking gore scenes with lots of HORRIBLY dubbed dialog. This film makes other no-budget outings like PREMUTOS: LORD OF THE LIVING DEAD look like TITANIC. Some may rank ZD in the "so-bad-it's-good" category - and I guess if you're REALLY drunk or high and watching it with a few friends MST3K-style - I guess it could be looked at that way. But not by me. I hated pretty much everything about it. If ZOMBIE DOOM or ZOMBIE 90 (which is equally appalling and is included as a "bonus" on the Shock-O-Rama release of ZD) is indicative of Andreas Schnaas' other works - then he should be banned from ever having anything to do with making a film ever again under penalty of death. There is one amusing kung-fu battle in the latter half of the film, and a lot of blood - so I'll grant this one a VERY generous 3/10 - Do yourself a favor and skip this.

Karl Jr and his dad are now running an army on a remote island. They capture a trio of guys who stumble upon the island. Whom after a while fight back. (well the survivors) This one has non-stop blood, gore and carnage, which would have been good if any of it looked remotely real, or if the production didn't look like it was made with a weeks worth of saved up lunch money (I may be overexxagerating there. it was probably just a couple days worth). The horrendous dubbing didn't bother me as much and I suspect if I had been really drunk, some of it MIGHT have been slightly humorous....maybe. But as it is, at merely 78 minutes the movie still felt way too long by.. Oh I don't know... 78 minutes. Don't waste your time.My Grade: F DVD Extras: Bonus movie: "Zombie '90: Extreme Pestilence"; and Trailers for other Shock-o-Rama released films

This is the best horror movie in my collection. Its got it all face ripping, chest pulling, head twisting and ninjas. This movie was shot on a camcorder so don't expect to much quality when it comes to picture. The dvd which you can get off the external reviews has a load of special features. Including the movie zombie 90 which sucks. This film starts at a island somewhere near Germany it looks like. This is a definate recommendation to any gore hound out there this delivers what it promises plain and simple.
