Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukranian government official, from Marseilles to Odessa on the Black Sea. En route, he has to contend with thugs who want to intercept Valentina's safe delivery and not let his personal feelings get in the way of his dangerous objective.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.

Statham finds himself forced to do a transportation job he doesn't want to do when the man he suggested in his place fails and the bad guys hook him up with a device that will explode if he tries to leave his car. He doesn't know what he's supposed to deliver or why a young Russian woman has to go with him. A serviceable action flick that gets by on Statham's inherent likability. Cory Yuen choreographs the fighting and it's not bad, but Olivier Megaton has a tendency to cut too often and spoil a fight scene. The action isn't incoherent as so much fast cutting renders in these days, but it does dull the impact significantly.

its a little late for a review of this film but i have to say this 3rd film in all of the transporter film series i will not say this is the worst one but this is definitely the lamest and weakest one as far as action is concerned.this one & the latest film with unknown actor transporter refueled 2015 don't even comes close to the second one released in 2005 i saw it recently and its garbage seriously oliver megaton this director sucks.transporter films are not to be taken seriously they are fun and over the top ridiculous at times but they are at least watchable then those new dumb, boring & stupid James Bond films of Daniel Craig.if you are into action Jason Statham is the man you must look out for his crank series are amazing too,i tried my best here to enjoy but its not entertaining at all the camera-work is terrible, the story is stupid and forget the action its so lame only funny scene was the bicycle scene.Plot:frank martin returns in the big game with his new mission to deliver a girl to some location and get the job done but there is a problem the bad guys put a bracelet on his wrist it will explode if he goes away from his car.transporter 3 lacks everything funny dialogs, comedy & loud action the only bonus point is the strip dance sequence of Jason Statham oh yes.a lot of people hate this film for no reason but most of them hate it for wrong reasons like the actress Natalya Rudakova who plays the character of Valentina who is annoying little bit but honestly speaking she did a fine job here i mean the way her role was written in the script she nailed it perfectly so those who are hating her looks are either blind or have no taste in women she is ultra sexy.Jason Statham is the most bad-ass and dangerous action hero in the world along with Vin Diesel & Jean Claude Van Dame most of his films are slow but when he does fast paced action genre no one stops him.i am not a fan of this film or even the first one i recommend buying the second one transporter 2 2005 it is by far the best film ever made.Transporter 3 2008 is a bad film but still a worthy watch if you are a Jason Statham fan my rating is 3/10.

This is a sequel with no energy and a plot that focuses on all the wrong things. The girl that Frank is stuck with for most of the movie is obnoxious and a frustratingly horrible actress. This could have been a good movie. I mean, it's got Frank having to drive a girl around, with an explosive anklet that'll blast him to smithereens if he's separated from his car. And she's the daughter of a politician who's being blackmailed into signing some document to allow chemical ships to get into the country without a hassle. Oh, and it's got Robert Knepper, an underrated actor, playing the villain.Where did it go wrong? Maybe it was the fact this installment didn't match or surpass the fun ridiculousness of the first two (with the exception of Frank driving his car onto a train--and then THROUGH the train--to get to the bad guy). Or maybe it was the fact that the fight scenes were sped up (they literally fast-forwarded through some of the fights!) and blurry, with too many close-ups for you to tell just what the hell is going on. Oh, and that girl. That girl was terrible. Some people may enjoy this, but for me, it was a huge disappointment.

Well, if there is one cool thing about this movie and that is the name of the director, though I feel that Megaton is probably not his real name but rather his stage name (though I did not think that directors had stage names, only actors). This is actually the better of the Transporter movies, though in many ways it still falls down in a lot of cases. One of the things that I wondered about this film was why they were using a diesel power train in the Ukraine when all of their trains are electrified, and then I realised that the reason for this was to enable Frank to drive the car off of the bridge and along the roof of the train (something you can't do when there are gantries in the way). In fact, the probably with using electric trains in action movies is that it makes it really difficult to have a fight scene on the roof (which is probably why most of America's railway system is not electrified). This one deals with the dumping of environmental waste, though as with most action movies, the theme behind the plot is irrelevant, you just watch the film to see Jason Stratham beat people up and to watch him drive his car and pull ridiculous stunts with it (such as using the tyres to inflate balloons and lift the car out of the water, or as I have just mentioned, driving it off a bridge and onto the roof of a train).Transporter Three is somewhat more entertaining than the last two, but that probably has something to do with the fact that this time around (I have now seen it three times, which is probably two times two many for these films – and for some reason purchased them on DVD as well) I watched it in three parts, so it ended up breaking up the monotony of this film. Now that I have watched these three films (again) and written commentaries on them, I can now think about getting rid of these films (hopefully Cash Converters will buy them).
