The Transporter Refueled Trailers

The fast-paced action movie is again set in the criminal underworld in France, where Frank Martin is known as The Transporter, because he is the best driver and mercenary money can buy. In this installment, he meets Anna and they attempt to take down a group of ruthless Russian human traffickers who also have kidnapped Frank’s father.

Absolutely the worst movie.

It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful

Damn x 101, You're better of watching the first 2 or 3 movies. Ed Skrein and Ray Stevenson had no chemistry it was like watching 2 monkeys fighting over a banana peel that no other monkeys wanted. I must correct myself watch I said about the 2 monkeys fighting over a banana peel is for every actor that played in the movie. And I think watching 2 monkeys fight is a better watch than this.Every new movie they make if it's a reboot or not they are all the same: everybody looking like they have a lot of money, and they all look so arrogant you just wanna punch them all so hard in the face. Please Hollywood stop making such terrible movies!!!! The fx, acting, and overall movie is bad (and I have only seen half of the movie. You can better watch "older" movies they are a lot better than this.......

Ed Skrein is in my opinion a very poor casting decision. He has none of the presence that Jason Statham has and as the character of Frank Is The Transporter, this movie was never going to be any good. Ed Skrein looks like someone doing a very poor impersonation of Jason Statham but everything about him is wrong. His voice is more modern white rude boy rap style and it doesn't work for the character. It is also clear that he cannot fight and every fight scene looks like a poorly choreographed dance. (Ok I know all fight scenes are choreographed but it was clear that Statham could actually fight, Skrein clearly cannot)It is a shame as this could have been a good film, the story wasn't bad and the supporting actors were pretty good, but the Frank character was weak.Maybe they should have made a prequel with a different actor playing a young Frank? However they would have been better off paying Jason Statham his fee and made Transporter 4Sadly this is one DVD that will be in the pound shops before long.

In the intro we see how some new gang takes over the prostitution business from the Africans on the French Riviera by shooting everything in sight. There are 4 bad guys. One of the new girls is Anna. One of the girls from the previous crew is Maissa. The new boss Karasov takes an interest in her, asks her is she wants to work for him, she agrees, and he takes her with him in his limo.15 years later we meet Anna again, planning something. 2 girls visit a john in a hotel. It's one of the bad guys from the intro. They kill him, plant a female dead body, and burn the place up.Frank shows us his fighting skills by beating up a bunch of thugs. He picks up his dad, who pretends to be an Evian representative, even though the son knows well he was some special forces. Frank Sr. also knows what the son is about, but both pretend not to know much about each other.Later when the dad offers to help a pretty girl with car trouble, he's, um...taken. Frank Jr. meets a girl, Anna, for a job, although he opposes face-to-face meetings. This time around there is no operator. His job is to pick up the girl at some other time in front of a bank. But some minutes later, two other girls dressed up just like her exit the bank. The cops nearby get suspicious of Frank's car parked there for too long. A car chase ensues. Now Anna shows him she's got the dad and demands the Frank does exactly as she says. What follows are some missions by the 4 girls to get the fingerprint of 3 of the bad guys from the intro. Then later, after the dad has gotten pretty friendly with his pretty captors, Anna announces that she's poisoned the dad and unless Frank helps her get Karasov, the dad will die without the antidote. The plan is to get all the money these 4 criminals have made over time while incriminating each other. The Transporter Refueled is a rather lackluster reboot. I'm not one who thinks that these movies have got to have Statham. In fact they could have made this another transporter in another town, instead of giving him Frank's identity. The problem is that Skrein isn't the right guy--at all. Much of the casting is off as well--all the bad guys, the police guy. But then they got Ray Stevenson who's just too charismatic and likable. The girls are all attractive, especially Tatiana Pajkovic. Loan Chabanol is just stunning and wonderful in the role of the villain seductress. Acting falls along those lines as well with Stevenson and Chabanol carrying the movie against the best attempts by the rest to derail it. Also working against the movie is director Delamarre, who while nowhere near as awful as Megaton! still isn't ready to direct. The writing doesn't help either. Instead of establishing Frank as a transporter, they pretty much skip that vital aspect. The basics of the story aren't that bad, Anna's mission is a good one, but here you have completely insignificant villains. Karasov and his gang are at no point established as truly bad guys. Action scenes aren't anything special. Skrein isn't particularly suited to fight and there isn't much of a cool fighting style here. Car chase scenes are similarly dull, looking more like long TV spots for a particular car brand whose cars aren't much to look at to begin with.I think it was too soon for a reboot, they should have just franchised the idea and make this Transporter--Italy or something like that, since the TV series takes place often in Germany and keep the original in France. Make this one a different transporter, sure call them all Franks if necessary, just don't hire Skrein. This transporter could have made contact with the one from the series, if they want to bring it together somehow. Instead for a reboot/remake this just isn't explosive or impressive enough.

Gorgeous scenery in the French Riviera, beautiful exotic women taking revenge on their pimp, and a Luc Besson story combine with an extended Audi product placement to make an entertaining action movie.Ed Skrein is a suitable replacement for Jason Statham and a believable enough action hero. Don't like the way he says everything in the same hoarse whisper though. Could vary his diction more. Loan Chabanol has got a future in movies - she is beautiful and acts well enough. There is a quite a range of exotic beautiful women in this movie but the message isn't exploitative or misogynistic. The ladies are the ones in charge here.Better than last couple of Bond movies.
