To me, this movie is perfection.

I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.

Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast

Fun premise, good actors, bad writing. This film seemed to have potential at the beginning but it quickly devolves into a trite action film. Ultimately it's very boring.

The title says it all. This is a movie that must be seen, trying to explain it would be pointless. It's easy to find on sites that have videos and stuff.

Words cannot do this 30 movie justice. You will laugh, cry, and think WTF quite a lot. If you have a spare half an hour, watching this would be a good way to spend it.

A Miami cop trained in the art of Kung-Fu travels back in time to defeat the most powerful villain of all: Kung Fuhrer. Kung Fury is a movie so bad it is good. It has cheesy 80's references along with goofy fight scenes. Kung Fury, the main character himself, is the producer of the movie. Actors 8/10: All the actors fit into their roles, none of them ever seem out of it or hating their role. The actors are genuine and enjoy the movie and they look the part as well. Two characters in the movie are played by Swedish comedians with not much acting experience. Despite that they are genuine with their characters as German soldiers.Effects 6/10: The movie is very green screened but it is not obvious most of the time. One part of the movie that is noticeable is when Kung Fury jumps off his car. It is noticeable that it is green screened but at the same time the scene is meant to be funny. The 80's retro theme is very good though. The movie has an arcade feeling to it and it looks like a blast to the past. Another point in the movie that this cheesy 80's feel comes in is when Kung Fury travels back in time. He surfs on a keyboard through a Tron like portal.Plot 8/10: The plot hits exactly what it was trying to do: having a goofy 80's arcade movie. A Miami cop that goes back in time to fight Hitler. A funny and good movie overall that anybody can watch. Overall 8/10: The movie is a goofy and fun time that anyone can watch and enjoy. The actors are genuine and the overall effects are decent albeit sometimes noticeable. If you are looking for a movie to watch with friends that has references to old 80's TV shows this is a great choice for you. Plus, it has the Hoff 9000 Kung Fury's talking car.

Actually this is a throwback and it's pretty clear from the beginning. Anyone who had the "pleasure" of watching movies on VHS (search for it if you've never heard of this before), will have a smirk at the beginning. The quality (or lack thereof) is so obvious that you might even think this was shot back then.Obviously when the CG effects start pouring in (quite literally), you will realize that that isn't possible. And while this movie also tries to be a classic with everything it has, it has something that some other movies that try hard don't have: heart! And a lot of blood thrown into the mix as well ... Not for the squeamish then. Also not for the political correct people, because this will offend as many people as it can. But having fun while doing so. So if you can let go of certain things and are willing to go on a fun ride, this is the (short) movie to do so with! Unfortunately the "real" movie will only come out in 2018 ...
