While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

The acting is good, and the firecracker script has some excellent ideas.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Not once but three times there is a scene with an under age girl getting raped. This movie should be banned. I find it deeply disturbing and sick, not in any entertaining in any sense. It goes way too far trying to tell an Anne Frank type story.Also the main actress in the movie seems to be able to crawl up into a vent near the ceiling and put the cover back on. I find this impossible as she would need to carry the vent cover up with her but she needs both hands to climb into the vent and she cant just reach down and grab the cover once she's in there as it's too far down.I find it very hard to believe a frail young girl would be able to murder a trained military combatant as well.

Didn't expect this. Truly grim, yet interesting way to dramatise the abuse.Early on there is a shocking murder, and some truly awful violence follows. Far more harrowing than A Serbian Film, because these aren't cartoon characters. The big guy playing the rapist/killer of the girl with the broken pelvis is as close physically as you can get to a monster without makeup and special effects.It turns into a chase film, which is very clever in the confined spaces but a bit unlikely out in the open.The acting is really good throughout, and the pace picks up in the second half.Wasn't sure about the rotting corpses in the woods - dumping ground for dead girls from the house?

A story that sadly happened already in these parts trough the recent history and maybe is happening again and again in the part of central balkan KOSOVO.Even if all the killings in the war that happened there over the years the main responsible was the Serbes ,Albanians and Croats it is known that all the bordels and the main sources of drugs and weapons are held by Albanians and only Albanians .Why then writer choose these caratchters to be serbes with authentic names.I find it very offensive to the Serbian nation. The story line i find it very very good but the acting is very poor the scenes are very common and already seen in every horror movie ... Don't watch this save your time for something special.

I watched this movie last night and the first thing I wanted to do when it was over was to contact Sean Pertwee, whom I have always liked, and tell him that I thought he gave a POWERHOUSE performance of his career in this movie. Sadly, I was unable to contact him via Facebook so I'll just have to hope he reads this.The Seasoning House's subject matter is a very upsetting and hard to watch in places but.....WOW, where do I start heaping the praise? Well first I have to say that I was shocked to learn, while watching the special features on the DVD, that this is Rosie Day's FIRST leading roll in a movie. She is like a seasoned (pun intended) actor with many years of experience under her belt. This young lady should go a long, long way in the film making business and was totally brilliant as Little Angel.Kevin Howarth also deserves high praise for his roll as Viktor as he was also totally convincing for his part and EVERY other actor seemed totally committed to making this movie work, especially the young ladies. Paul Hyett (director) also did an exceptional job with some clever camera work on a lot of scenes.But, as I have already stated, THE kudos in my opinion must go to Sean Pertwee in the roll of Goran. He was so realistic as this character that he REALLY bothered and unnerved me. I have seen pretty much everything he has done but this was by far the one I will remember the most. Amazing Mr. Pertwee, simply amazing.P.S. Not overjoyed with the ending!!!
