The Hungover Games Trailers

Each year, drunk people are selected to participate in torturous games the morning after a big night out. There's no sunglasses, no water, and no headache medicine. "The Hungover Games," a film that manages to merge the premises of both "The Hunger Games" and "The Hangover" and throw in references to "Ted," "Django Unchained," "The Lord of the Rings," "Carrie," "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and whatever else crossed the writers' fevered brains during the probably very drunken "development process."

Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

I'm sat here writing this review and trying to work out which is the better spoof movie - "The Starving Games" or "The Hungover Games". It's a difficult choice. It's kind of like offering me the choice of taking a bullet to the brain or a bullet to the heart. Neither film will ever be classed as a cinematic masterpiece.I do get the feeling though that the makers of "The Hungover Games" are actually trying. They've tried to write a good script, they've tried to give it decent production values and even the actors seem to be trying. It's a little more than can be said of the stuff that Freidberg & Seltzer keep pumping out. It's perhaps a little disappointing then that none of the jokes in the film really seem to deliver and it all seems to land off-target. I didn't laugh once.I was sober when I watched this. Maybe to enjoy it the most you do actually need to be hungover! That's the only time I'd probably find some of this movie actually funny. A-plus for effort but C-minus for execution. Not great.

I actually loved this movie, I came across it accidentally but I'm so glad I did! I could stop laughing for the entire time, lots of comedy especially if you like shows similar to Family Guy and the characters are really just exaggerated versions of the characters in the original movies... Especially Teddy, Zach and obviously The Real Housewives (played by themselves). Some of the jokes may cause offence but if you enjoy the Hangover etc then you won't be offended. Mild language, insinuated violence and a lot of hot naked chicks for the men. The best spoof film I've seen in a long time; not just of THG and The Hangover but Depp movies, Avatar and Ted among others. Just an all round comedy and definitely worth a watch.. I'll be watching again :)

Had a couple of good initial concepts, and some of the cast and acting was actually OK, however, the plot / writing was just terrible. Seemed to have very low budget / production values. It even had some decent special effects in places, which they should have just saved the money on and spent it on the writing.Nothing could save this film once the writing and plot went downhill. Lots of hard cuts between, or during unfunny scenes. Many, many, many very unfunny jokes and scenes. Even the music is strange. It also failed to do much of a parody number on its namesake. Seems to think it's Family Guy with all the pop-culture references that will date immediately.I tried hard to come up with other nice things to say, but I can't. I could not sit through it.Cannot recommend.

In a world where an entire generation of young people are unable to identify a spoof movie that isn't crap. It is 2014 humans lived with Scary Movie 2 being the last time a decent spoof hit the silver screen. Many have tried. More have failed. One production company stood up. One group of weird people said enough. There have been too many hammy, crappy, unfunny spoofs feeding on the scraps of potheads with a Netflix account. It was time change came to That film was "The Hungover Games" and it is a damn good effort to put an end to a decade of utterly unwatchable spoofs. Characters convincingly lifted from other films, to be exaggerated, not imitated. Special effects made by professionals exceeding their limitations, and a teddy bear tea-bagging an escaped slave. This film is non-stop laughter. I was expecting to give up after 5 minutes, but I gave it a chance and regret nothing. This is a brilliant addition to the spoof genre and I hope to see more like it in future.
