The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.

I appreciate that they are hiring the disabled, but when your cameraman is having constant seizures and the sound editor is completely out of his mind it can hurt the viewing experience. The lighting also felt a bit more fitted to a rave or a cheap haunted house than a suspense film, and a lot of the colors had a weird washed out effect. There was far too many fundamental problems for this movie to be salvaged, which is unfortunate because it seems like it could have been a fun film.

Three words: Waste of time...... please, do yourself a favor and watch something else. Please!!!! avoid this movie!!! It's nothing like the best of the X-files... not even like the worst!!! DO NOT WATCH IT... The actors are awful... it doesn't even got a good plot!!! I hate myself for having lost the time... and even more, because i watched the entire movie... The worst of all is the "agent" at the end... please!!!! Smith??? really?? you didn't have a brainstorm reunion before writing the script????!?!? And... what is supposed to be? a governmental agent? Thanks for wasting my time... Remember me when you watch the movie and think "this guy was right".

Most of the film is like a loud, bad soap opera with characters you couldn't possibly care about yelling at each other for reasons you couldn't possibly care about. Bad script, bad acting, bad direction. Don't waste your time.There was some oddly nice cinematography, suitable for a nature documentary. And the score was surprisingly good. It's a shame some genuinely eerie, dramatic music was wasted on people knocking on doors and windows, wandering aimlessly around, staring intensely into space, driving, walking, doing absolutely nothing of interest, ever.Written, produced, and directed by the same guy. It had to be, because if anyone with taste, talent, or even a light touch of sanity had been involved they'd've prevented this schlock from being made.

I want to give this movie a better rating, but 2 of the actors' "acting" performances ruined it for me. POD is a decent sci-fi / horror movie. It's entertaining. Hardcore sci-fi fans will enjoy it. And to be honest, the movie had potential to be a better-than-disappointing 1-time watch.However, Lauren Ashley Carter's (Lyla) ridiculously melodramatic performance left me... severely annoyed. Her dramatics were just exceptionally & unnecessarily overplayed.Brian Morvant (Martin) was the same, but it camouflaged well with his role.All in all, this movie is for sci-fi fanatics, and is an entertaining single-time viewing. Best part in the entire movie (don't worry... NOT a spoiler alert): 1hr 2mins 50secs in. I think that single scene brought this movie from a 3, up to a 4 out of 10 for me.
