... View MoreIt’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
... View MoreGreat movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
... View MoreWatching "Operation Delta Force 3", it soon became clear that the filmmakers were trying extremely hard to deliver the goods on a small budget. The movie keeps jumping from one different location to another, and while the various locations (underground tunnel, nuclear submarine, Pentagon Headquarters, etc.) do look a little impoverished, you can tell the filmmakers really squeezed every last penny of their small budget. The action sequences jump from place to place as well, and you get more elaborate action sequences than you usually get from a low budget actioner. But there are some significant problems with the movie. None of the characters are fleshed out or really stand out from each other. There is poor continuity at times. There are some glaring plot holes, like why don't the good guys simply blow up the hijacked submarine. And while the action scenes are elaborate, often they are executed in a sluggish manner.Still, the movie is never boring, and it has that other stuff I described in the first paragraph. I recommend that you watch the movie while you are doing something else at home - sewing, chopping vegetables, doing your taxes etc. It's a movie that's best not examined very closely, which would reveal more of its weaknesses if you watched it in a straightforward way.
... View MoreThe picture talks about the valiant and brave Delta Force commando constituted by Jim Fitzpatrick,Greg Collins,Bryan Genesse, among others . They are assigned to track down a nasty villain, a Colombian dope-lord that for vengeance hijacks a nuke underwater with ominous purports. The group must battle till vanquish in this overly actioner movie. This interesting movie is tense and exciting ,at time entertaining and with quite budget. Standard action-packed picture ,plenty of explosion,derring-do and fast moving . The film has frenetic action, shoot'em up and spectacular set pieces and for that reason is amusing. The motion picture is produced by Nu Image production that nowadays is called Milleniun and in charge of Danny Lerner,Avi Lerner and Trevor Short, besides producers previous Delta Force films as ¨Delta Force operation Ebola¨ with Ernie Hudson,Jeff Fahey and directed by Sam Firstemberg, plus ¨Operation Delta Force 2 Mayday¨ with Michael McGrady and directed by Yossi Wein. The atmospheric scores of the three Delta force are composed by Serge Colbert and usually repeat technicians and secondary actors in this kind films. The movie is professionally directed by Mark Roper. The flick will appeal to commandos sub-genre fans. Rating : acceptable and bemusing.
... View MoreI've lived in the Ontario Province of Canada all of my natural days. I'm not sure whether it's because we have so much snow and rain up here, or just because I enjoy them, but I have seen almost every action film that's available. I'm not a tomboy, I just enjoy action. The first time I saw Jim Fitzpatrick, I knew he had thing for action films too. I'm sure that he enjoys making them as much as we do watching them. It's like being a kid again and going out in the back yard and playing army, or in my case, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I'm also into martial arts, so I know that mister Fitzpatrick is no Chuck Norris. But, mister Fitzpatrick is a better actor than Chuck Norris is. Please continue to entertain us freezing Canucks up here in the Northern part of the continent. Thanks to you all.
... View MoreThere simply isn't anything to redeem this (attempt at a) film. This has to be the weakest delivery of an unoriginal plot to ever hit the screen - it's not even good enough to be 'filler'.The acting was wooden, the script predictable and unimaginative, the sets were totally unrealistic (crystal clear sea water though which to view the patently model sub?), and the continuity was dreadful! How about enemy soldiers who don't even know the basics of how to take cover? Or our band of heroes who dodge bullets while running along the top of a train in full view of machine-gun toting baddies? Maybe the plastic molded cave walls? And could we have guessed the count-down timer would have been stopped on anything other than 1 second?Actually the only thing this film is good for is to educate other film crews and actors how NOT to do it!
