... View MoreYo, there's no way for me to review this film without saying, take your *insert ethnicity + "ass" here* to see this film, like now. You have to see it in order to know what you're really messing with.
... View MoreIt is an exhilarating, distressing, funny and profound film, with one of the more memorable film scores in years,
... View MoreTerrible movie . It made me want to never watch romcoms again. Made me SO uncomfortable.
... View MoreI liked this movie far more than I should have. The fact that some reviewers were so drawn into the movie that they had to write "reviews" only to express how pathetic of a man "Adam" was, translates into Justin Long doing a wonderful job portraying a character that describes itself as an alien in the movie.I really appreciated how the character "Allison" was just an observed character that wasn't present for most of the movie. You see her in the eyes of Adam and she only actively participates when she talks to him. Cobie Smulders rarely disappoints. I must add that the movie is visually beautiful, evidenced by many scenes throughout the movie, of which I cite the scenes played over the end credits. The movie really did make me feel different emotions, strong emotions; and for that fact, I praise it.
... View MoreWhat kind of a man attends the wedding of an ex-gf? What kind of an ex-gf, seemingly makes it an obligation to attend said wedding? This makes no sense to me in the real world. This is not only wrong but screams of an attention whore. I wonder why one would not only want to rub it in her exes face but also put her significant other in an uncomfortable spot.
... View MoreI think I have written maybe two reviews in my life, and that's because movies were SO AMAZING that it needed to be said. In this case, it's just... so... not... worth... watching. There is no other way to say that whoever's fault this ridiculous waste is should be dragged across hot coals. I adore Justin, and I'm learning to like Cobie... DEFINITELY as a comedy duo they should have clicked and this had all the potential to be a great movie that was needed. Love the backdrop of San Fran and that lifestyle... really, I'm thinking chalk this up to supremely bad writing, directing and editing. Absolutely zero redeeming qualities here. I am surprised that halfway through filming Justin didn't stand up and walk off set in protest.
