I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.

The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.

I think this still qualifies as the worst movie I've ever seen. It's not just bad, it's despicable. The sheer fact that it was made is absolutely despicable. Disgusting. Now, I'm sure some folks who liked this movie will attempt to defend it by saying that it's "dark humor" and isn't meant to be taken seriously. No, attempting to call something "dark humor" doesn't excuse it as being a gigantic pile of ****. This movie is an insult to dark humor. I like dark humor just as much as the next person (check out the first two Sleepaway Camp films). That doesn't mean I'm going to fawn over every ridiculous movie that comes down the pike.I can't think of another script which manages to insult it's audience quite as much as this one does. I know that B-movies are lacking in quality in a lot of areas (but CAN still be good). This movie however, takes the cake. It's not even that I hated it so much as I was watching it. But after letting it sink in, I sat back and thought to myself "wtf was that?" To be clear, it's not the premise that's the problem. It's simply a remake of a Hantzel & Gretel type-story. It's how it's conceived, and of course, how it's executed which makes it so terrible.Maybe I shouldn't hate it so much. Maybe I should see it for what it is....Nah. There's dark comedies, there's good, twisted movies out there. This is a steaming pile of ****. Plain and simple. I hate this movie. I hate everything about it. A few naked bodies and maybe even a funny scene or two doesn't make it any less insufferable. If there's one good thing I'll say about it it's that it kept me watching. I wanted to see what would happen next. It was just bizarre enough to have that effect. God knows why, though. As the scenes just seemed to get more and more ridiculous and over the top. Why, oh why didn't I just stop?Awful movie. The worst movie I've ever seen (although to be fair, I haven't seen "Titanic: The Legend Lives On"). I could see how it could have been good. After all, the consensus is that the first Freeway (which was in the same vein) was actually pretty good (I haven't seen it). However, whatever this film tried to capture from the first, it did not. I think I've just about covered it. Terrible film.

Freeway 2: Confessions of A Trickbaby, written and directed by Matthew Bright, who in my opinion is one of the best and most underrated filmmakers working today. He wrote some fantastic films, which include, 'The Forbidden Zone (1982)' 'Guncrazy (1992)' and Modern Vampires (1998). Bright also wrote and directed three of my all time favorite films, 'Freeway (1996) 'Freeway 2 (1999)' and Ted Bundy (2002). Natasha Lyonne, who played Crystal aka White Girl and María Celedonio who played Cyclona, were both fantastic as the leads, and Vincent Gallo also gave a great performance as Sister Gomez. There was also a cool little cameo by John Landis, who played the Judge. This is a film not to be missed. If your a huge fan of Matthew Bright's work, like myself, and your looking for a unique and a one of kind film, then look no further, this is a modern Exploitation masterpiece and one of the best films of 90's. A perfect 10/10

*SPOILER ALERT* *SPOILER ALERT*I saw both "Freeway" flicks back to back. I was enjoying the first "Freeway" while I was watching it. When it ended though, I felt let down. I kept expecting a payoff scene to appear but it never did. I thought "Freeway" was going to be a B-movie extravaganza with Reese Witherspoon doing her thing as a country girl hooker. Nope. It turns out that the first "Freeway" is just an acting showcase for Witherspoon. I was disappointed. "Freeway II" takes the reins and gallops into B-movie sleaze land. I enjoyed this trip down the freeway a lot more."Freeway II" is a sequel in name only. It has nothing to do with the first one except for a girl going on the run again. This time it's Natasha Lyonne who hits the road after busting out of jail. She hooks up with a nutty serial killer and together they merge onto the freeway to B-movie land. Nuns, guns, hookers and killers mix in this sleaze jambalaya. It's tasty.Natasha Lyonne totally gets it. She plays a hooker named White Girl. Her and her psycho friend, (Maria Celedonio), kill and maim for fun and profit. There is a great scene where the two of them want to relieve the pressures of mass murder and decide to jump into bed for some female fun. Thank the Lord, a hooker who finally has sex. Eureka. Lyonne has the foul mouth hooker act down and is not afraid to get dirty. She made the movie for me. Celedonio was good too and gets topless on many occasions. The first "Freeway" may have been technically the better movie but "Freeway II" picks up the sleaze pace dropped by the first one. If you lean more towards B-insanity like I do, check this one out.

Natasha is so HOTT. Especially in the scenes in Mexico. Maria is cool too. And when they make out in the shower... ooh la la! You know you wanna get it on with this one, ya'll! Vincent is cool also. And one of my favorite actors, Max Perlich is in this movie. Make sure you notice him. And also make sure you got lots of vodka and cranberry juice on hand. Not so much for this movie, but just in case i stop by and need a place to say for a while. You know... till things blow over. Anyways, take is easy, yo!
