Flight of the Living Dead Trailers

On a flight from Los Angeles to Paris, a mad scientist on the run from the CIA is transporting a coffin containing the body of a colleague infected with a genetically modified virus. While the 747 crosses a violent thunderstorm, the instability of the aircraft allows the corpse to get out of its container.

Lack of good storyline.

The movie runs out of plot and jokes well before the end of a two-hour running time, long for a light comedy.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Okay, so pretty much any zombie-fan will know about George A Romero's classic 'Night of the Living Dead.' There have been many imitations. Here we have one that goes as far as to try and rhyme its title for added effect. The result – so-so.I'll start by saying that 'FLIGHT of the Living Dead' is no classic. Any zombie movie today always has to fight to get noticed among the dozens of undead offerings we find released straight to DVD. So... what has this one got that makes it worth the watch? The answer... no much really. But that doesn't mean it's all together bad. The title alone basically tells you everything you need to know about the plot. A plane. A toxic outbreak on board. Zombies. Before I watched it I did kind of wonder how they could drag out a film set in such a confined space to an hour and a half – even the biggest jumbo jets would soon find every last inch crammed by flesh-eating ghouls pretty quickly. However, the film-makers have done a reasonable job of making things believable. The first half of the film introduces us to the characters (and reinforces what little plot there is). Basically, the plane is populated by stereotypes. You will probably guess the fate of most of them, but there are a couple which actually stand out as people you'd root for (ironically, one of the best characters is a prisoner who's on his way to jail!). And that's enough for this sort of film. It basically scrapes through on character traits. The plot is wafer-thin and the gore is nothing that you haven't seen before.Like I said, it's no classic, but if you're in the mood for (yet another) zombie film and you're in a forgiving mood, then this one might fill an hour and a half of your life. For me, the only part I really rolled my eyes at were when the undead – somehow – managed to 'punch through' the floor of the plane in order to climb out of the 'hold' and get into the cabin to feast on the passengers. Next time I'm on a plane I'll be a little worried when I'm taking my seat if I think the floor beneath my feet could give way so easily!

A decent entry on the zombie sub-genre, 'Flight of the Living Dead' takes the usual zombie epidemic to an original place: a 747 flying from LA to Paris. During the flight, a mysterious scientific experiment that was being transported escapes, unleashing the zombies upon the unsuspecting passengers.'Flight' does not follow the Romero zombie film's, as in it isn't slow nor does it have a social commentary hidden in it. Instead, it is a gory, somewhat intense, and above all fun horror picture. The zombies are crawling through the airplane and can appear anywhere at any time; once there is an attack in the bathroom, and later some start coming from the floor. The acting is not bad, which is surprising for a movie like this (where good or even decent acting tends to be rarely found). The effects are okay, but the setting of the plane is what really steals the show. There is an incredible lack of logic in here though, especially the ending (which seems to invite a sequel) and the shoot outs in the plane, but the film's violent fun is enough to make this a decent movie overall. After all, this film main goal is to entertain and it accomplishes its task well.

Oh, man. I was 10 minutes into what screamed crapfest and I actually felt committed to continue to the end of Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane. Seriously? The premise didn't lie, nor did the ridiculously long two-title title. It's a flight, there's the living dead and it's an outbreak. What more do you need to know? Other than those motherfucking zombies on that motherfucking plane, there's nothing else. So, maybe, scratch that – I was wrong to even start it. And even moreso to finish it and waste the time. The movie contained horrid dialogue, terrible acting and a plane with enough space to be a zombie-infested mall in the sky.Sadly, I'll admit there were a few sparks of humor, mostly by the "good guy/bad guy" and a minute amount of originality and perhaps a speck of fright. But, those two positives that take up about two minutes isn't worth the remaining 92 minutes. In fact, it takes far too long to get to the goods. The first full half or more is an absolute abysmal display of developing bad actor's clichéd characters.Trust me, I made a mistake. Don't follow me. Take the bus, instead.

If Wes Craven was to try his hand at a zombie film, this would be the end result, and I sincerely mean it was that bad. One part in particular brings this to mind, the people getting pulled through the bathroom mirror, just like the mother getting pulled through the window at the end of the original Nightmare on Elm Street. The cheesy teen drama and the 80's guitar ballads were so appropriate. Why not just call in Nightmare on the Plane. At the end of the film, somewhere between zombies flying through the air and the captain's head bursting like a water balloon, I began to believe this is probably the worst zombie film I can recall, apart from Night of The Living Dead 3D. With the Halloween shop gory effects and the acting, which was a step bellow a preschool presentation, it leaves me wondering why I rented this film, even if it was free. I'm sure I could have seen it on SyFy or Chiller.
