Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

Fired Up (2009): Dir: Will Gluck / Cast: Nicholas D'Agosto, Eric Christian Olsen, Sarah Roemer, Molly Sims, Danneel Harris: Uninspired geek show about freedom, or lack of it. It seems that the makers of this film had too much of it. It stars Nicholas D'Agosto and Eric Christian Olsen as two college football players who ditch camp to attend cheerleader camp. Lame, obvious and stupid best describe this idiotic peep show that grows a faults sentimentalism towards the conclusion, as if anybody actually learns a lesson from this garbage. Directed by Will Gluck who seems inspired by previous teen romps but this falls in with the countless sex romps that fail to engage as oppose to the ones that viewers can relate to. Complete with lousy acting by all. D'Agosto and Olsen run the cheerleading course with complete obvious conclusions. Sarah Roemer as head cheerleader is the obvious romantic prop with all the personality of a pom pom. Molly Sims as a coach and targeted sex symbol needs to test that statement on a better film than this. Why Miss March was blasted upon release when a film such as this exits, remains a mystery. At least Miss March, despite also being raunchy perversion, played around with the idea or fantasy of having a playmate girlfriend and the reality of real women. This film is nothing more than raunchy humour and an excuse for perversion. This film should be fired up into the air and shot at. Score: 2 / 10

The friends looking for sex. The jokes failing to achieve the intended humor. The lame melodic punk rock songs. The hard-to-get skeptical girl. The supposedly funny smart talk. The easy willing girls. The running gags. The annoying gay guy. The stupid boyfriend. The evil other team. The old guy saying 'shit' a lot. The running gags. The countless sex references. The quick-witted baby sister. The running gags. The omission of the F-word. The homosexual anxiety. The sapless slapstick. The diverging agendas. The victory of real love. The running gags. The Buildup, the Crisis and the Happy End. Seen one, seen 'em all.

Here in Italy was not released on theaters but only played on satellite television, and i can't understand why, maybe because it doesn't feature big names;anyway it's just hilarious!!! Thus it might not be a big production it surely shows what good ideas, great lines and good actors can deliver. Not to mention the soundtrack, a compilation of song of all genres picked with the very right taste. Kudos to all the cast and crew, they did an amazing job; every time the satellite movie channel plays this movie i get stuck and i can't leave it till the end titles (guess i've seen it already 3 or 4 times...) WATCH IT!!! you will laugh your a.. off, guaranteed. Hope those young actors will have more roles in the future, they are very good.

I was expecting this movie to be entertaining and funny like some reviews had said but it really wasn't. Fired up is a comedy that has far too many clichés, far too many un-funny moments, far too many predictable moments, an incredibly recycled plot(even from Bring it on)and nothing to cheer for.Fired up is the story of two best friend teens who decide to go to Cheerleading camp instead of Football camp. Why? Well isn't it obvious. To meet girls. That is really unrealistic because in the movie they're described as popular cool kids not nerds, and they have no problems with females. Also one of them was the captain of his football team while the other was a starter (which is important). Really, how is meeting more dumb girls more important than winning something special by playing football. Like in other teen films. Of course the love interest will have a boyfriend that is a fool and he will find some way to show the girls who they really are.The dialogue is straight garbage and predictable The movie has a few laughs and giggles here and there but it's still a mess. Though I rarely laughed. Also the characters are very typical, the lead is a calm normal guy while the best friend is a girl-hunting clown who tries to crack jokes every second. And the two guys looked much older than high school students. The females were all clumbsy except the main girl and the little sister was beyond awful. She looked way young and she was always upset and randomly cursingBut Fired up is like a lot of teen comedies. I swear the plot to this was used a little in Bring it on, another cheerleading film. Yea, this movie felt like 'Bring It On' just in a guy's perspective...too much cheerleading crap. Also if this were R rated IMO it would have been much better. Trust me on that homes!
