A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.

This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows

How do you stop 3 guys who roll into town and start committing capital crimes in broad daylight right in front of the authorities? Prosecute them using things like evidence and eyewitness testimony? NO! There is only ONE WAY!! You must put on a disguise and ride a Honda all over the place and throw grenades at people! It's the only way! Why, you ask? Well, if you're the sort of person who likes to ask obvious, logical questions such as "why" things are happening, then Dark Rider is going to keep you occupied far beyond the run time of 94 minutes. It's mullets and car crashes galore, with a goggle-eyed Joe Estevez mugging it up whenever nothing is happening, which is usually. Now do whatever it takes to get a copy of this movie and watch it.

That's the way I like my heroes - tall, square-jawed, wearing black boots, tight black jeans, a black leather jacket and a black motorbike helmet. The baddies by contrast, have long thin hair and wear suits. They enjoy breaking people's fingers and sexually harrassing women, whereas our hero only assaults or kills the people who deserve it, and doesn't show any sexual interest in women, not even his wife. What a great guy. He's mine!

This movie is really cheap and trashy but it also makes a lot of fun. A mixture between Knight Rider and Zorro. Joe Estevez, one of the best B-movie actors of all times, plays the bad guy as usual. If you are a fan of him, don't miss this one!
