All the Boys Love Mandy Lane Trailers

Beautiful Mandy Lane isn't a party girl but, when classmate Chloe invites the Texas high school student to a bash in the countryside, she reluctantly accepts. After hitching a ride with a vaguely scary older man, the teens arrive at their destination. Partying ensues, and Mandy's close pal, Emmet, keeps a watchful eye on the young males making a play for Mandy. Then two of the students are murdered.

The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.

I found this movie surprisingly good. This movie contains just about everything you could want. It has some action, some suspense, some twists and turns, and of course Mandy.

There are moments in the adolescence when a boy gets so infatuated by a girl that it seems he has never seen a woman in his life, but there are girls who know how to take advantage of it. This is, roughly, the theme of this film, where a teenager girl seduces several boys with rather dubious intentions. Nothing new, therefore. It's just another teen movie, full of sexual cues (direct or veiled), violence and stereotypical characters that exist only to die. What I don't understand is why Mandy Lane appears as an irresistible and seductive woman when, in fact, she is just a girl who loves to tease the boys. Do boys love being treated like idiots? The movie tries to surprise at the end with a plot twist, but the attentive viewer already foresaw it for some time. Amber Heard is excellent at her character and could have done better if she had received more dense and consistent material to work with. The rest of the cast is on the borderline between the acceptable and the mediocre. This film lacked a better development of the plot and the characters, so it all seems a bit meaningless.

I had the same problem in this movie as with "House of the Devil" it was so hard to be an homage to classic slasher movies from the seventies and eighties, it forgets to be a movie of its own, people usually say "you don't get it, its supposed to be like that" i don't mind the essence but i expect more of a just run and stab, in the end all movies are trying to tell a story but now its more focused on looking like an old movie in every single way. There's so little reasons on WHY the killing is done, to the point its just hinted out, half of the movie its just teens being teens, that i have to admit they really nailed it, thats something good they act like actual teenagers do booze hungry, hormone crazy, insecure, trying to prove others there better than them, that was well done. The title of the movie to me sounded more like a revenge flick like "I spit on your grave" i wasn't expecting to turn out the way it did, Amber Heard really knows how to use what she is giving to work with and she pulls it of very well as the rest of the cast but thats probably it, honestly you don't have to rub two brain cells to know who is the killer, its painfully predictable, the cliché characters are all there, but I've seen worst, i just was expecting something different, prove me wrong or agree, out of curiosity give it a watch.

The "twist" is very predictable. The ending will leave you feeling robbed. None of the characters are likable but you do not really hate them either. Pretty much do not care about any of them. Mandy Lane is hot for sure but I think "like" is a mis-characterization of how all the boys feel about her. This is another one of those contemporary slasher flicks that ends on a very dark note. If you are looking for vindication or a sense of justice where monsters are defeated by the virtuousness watch Friday 13th or Halloween.I believe that slasher films are analogous to a persons inner struggle to defeat the demons with in themselves. The residual rage that some of us care from our childhood. In most movies from this genre the protagonist defeats this darkness and finds freedom. In this film the darkness wins and the observer is left trapped in his own self destructive motivations. These are not spoilers but warnings to those like myself that enjoy a good slasher film because it renews are faith in the power of will!Be warned!
