Great visuals, story delivers no surprises
... View MoreAlthough it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.
... View MoreIt’s not bad or unwatchable but despite the amplitude of the spectacle, the end result is underwhelming.
... View MoreTrue to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
... View MoreI can't believed this ended so soon. I was so disappointed. I loved the strong yet secret female lead. Her best friend became her true love. They fought evil together side by side and risked everything for love and goodness. I personally did not miss a single episode and wish there was a DVD release. It seems this was so unpopular that it is not well known.
... View MoreIf you can get past the low budget and occasionally problematic production quality then this ain't bad, not bad at all. In fact the acting is really interesting, almost unusual especially from the younger players. The wit and modern relevance in it reminds me of things like Buffy the Vampire Slayer but there is only one brief occult element here. Dammit, this thing has a personality and charm all of its own ! It made me laugh ... the Musketeers poetry and I thought the performance given by the actor who plays the young King was particularly amusing. Maybe there's more of this out there somewhere ? Why so serious guys ?
... View MoreFrankly, I'm amazed it made it beyond one episode. I couldn't even make it through the first episode before I had to shut it off. Made by 5 year old children for other five year old children, I'm guessing. The acting is horrid beyond belief. What Bruce and Michael are doing here is beyond me. Obviously they couldn't get work elsewhere or they are total idiots for putting their names on this (but then they are 'actors' and actors are notoriously stupid). As to the 3 leading men, obviously they couldn't get work in the gay porn industry because they were all too ugly. And who in their right mind would believe Sheena Easton could even pretend to be a man! Please! If you enjoy BAD TV, then there is you're thing, I guess. They don't come much worse than this.
... View MoreWatching this movie is sometimes like watching a train wreck. You want to look away, but you just can't seem to. I would rather see Karen Cliché still working on Mutant X, but I suppose you can't have everything. The "sexual tension" between D'Artagnan and Jacqueline seems really strained. At times, I wish Siroc would get his head out of his inventions and use that keen mind of his to realize that his friend Jacques is really a girl. Oy! I'm hoping for a second season to see if it gets better. I'm not sure I'm expecting it, but the final episode of Season 1 "Secrets" wasn't too bad.
