It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.

Is it believable, no! Is it fun, you better believe it! I loved eastbound & down but a lot of ppl didn't like it because it was so self deprecating and dark...this gives the audience a new try at something that is a bit more uplifting and with the inclusion of Goggins that has continuously delivered in terms of comedic proficiency (sons of anarchy & in some part justified). They complement each other perfectly and genuinely seem to jive together! In short; stupid fun that will make you laugh, not chuckle...but genuinely laugh!

McBride and Goggins are perfect for each other. The chemistry between those two,was fresh and I didn't find a moment throughout the, admittedly short, series. The cast was perfectly chosen, every single character was a great addition to the program. I'm very upset it ends after only 18 episodes in 2 seasons. It makes sense, but I felt like they needed at least another few seasons of fun. Either way, you'll fall in love with this show; or you won't. It reminds me of East Bound and Down. Personally, Goggins was the most enjoyable guy on the show. You can see how producers tried to make McBride the centerpiece of the show, but really they both were at equal altitude in their performances. Bravo

Two diametrically opposite vice principals compete for the job as principal due to the retirement of Bill Murray because his wife has deadly melanoma cancer. Neal Gamby is one of the vice principals. He wears clip on ties and it crude and intolerant. Lee Russell is more refined as we see him wearing a bow tie and red pants. He is married, but everyone suspects him of being gay. When Dr. Belinda Brown (Kimberly Hebert Gregory) gets the job, our odd couple for an alliance to oust her. The series goes off on a lot of tangents. As for the course classroom topics reflect what is on the screen and adults mimic the same issues as teens and handle them in the same immature fashion. In spite of what is good s\writing for a TV program, much of the comedy is uneven, and the second episode spent way too much time on the vandalism and fire scene. We get them attempting to be incognito driving a Student Driver car, with the sun glasses, but it didn't come across funny primarily because the actors couldn't pull it off as a John Goodman could,,,who BTW would be perfect for the Neal Gamby role. Bill Murray gone in the first episode, Celia Weston after two. Too much is placed on Danny McBride.Belinda Brown is made fun of because of her gender and weight, but never race. Not realistic, but acceptable for HBO.Guide: F-word, sex, and nudity.

The first season of Vice Principals is quite short but I'm already hooked on this excellent comedy. Season two can't come fast enough. The humor in this series might not be for everyone but to me it's excellent. I don't know what it is with Danny McBride as Neal Gamby. Is it his hair, his mustache or his facial expressions in general but as soon as I see him I have to laugh. The combination of Danny McBride and Walton Goggins is a perfect match. Those two are running the show and it's a delight to watch. Georgia King as Amanda Snodgrass is also a delight to watch. As well for her acting as her very good looks. The language might be over the limit for a lot of stuck-up people but I think this is the best part of the show. I honestly can't wait for season two to begin and I hope it will continue like this for a long time. I'm a fan!
