Go in cold, and you're likely to emerge with your blood boiling. This has to be seen to be believed.

I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
... View MoreYes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

... View MoreAs the comments here and the rates, this show is a political war against Lula and PT and more in general, every non liberal process in Latin America for the past decades. The show is not good even in technical reviews. This is the world in we live in. See this only if you are a rich, white, racist, and not much clever person in Brazil, or just for scientific reasons, to get to know the mechanism of the propaganda.

... View More"O Mecanismo" is a NETFLIX series with the dramatization of the Lava-Jato (Car Wash) Operation, the greatest corruption chase in Brazil ever. Brazil is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and the Lava-Jato and the Judge Sérgio Moro are the hope for the most of the Brazilian (honest) population in an absolutely corrupt system. Unfortunately there are no laws to keep these criminals behind bars. The Powers That Be in the Justice, Law and Executive areas are also corrupt and there is no way out of the Mechanism. Senators and Congressman are spared in the film José Padilha, from "Tropa de Elite", shows that he has guts to disclose the corruption scheme in Brazil, creating a great story based on true events. Disclosed in eight episodes, he does not spare the parties, showing how the corruption system operates independently of the level. The Brazilian viewers can clearly identify the real names of those involved in the Operação Lava-Jato. Looking forward to see the sequel of this great season. My vote is nine.Title (Brazil): "O Mecanismo" ("The Mechanism")
