It is not deep, but it is fun to watch. It does have a bit more of an edge to it than other similar films.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

The narrator of this show is apparently some clown I've never heard of that once had a role on coronation street, I'm not saying shows like these should glamourise criminals because most of them are a bunch of low life waste of space. However this narrators script is so biased it is ridiculous. Why does this prat have to run down the suspects with childish insults every 2 minutes? His job should be just to tell the story, The writers opinions are worthless and unnecessary. They always seem to pick cases where suspects get caught, in my younger years I was a bit of a tear away and I use to make the police look like utter baffoons. I guess I will never know if there is any footage of the countless times the back of my trainers disappeared into the distance with an overweight copper trundling in a hopeless effort to catch up. If there is though you can show it if you like, you have my permission to redress the balance a bit.

I was so unfortunate to subtitle six episodes of this show, and it was time spent in hell. Most of the footage was of UK police officers that stopped motorists for not having insurance, giving them a fine, and then driving off, or of police officers searching people for drugs, and when they didn't have any they would let them go. The show is pointless, dull, idiotic and only of any use if there's nothing better to do, which there ALWAYS will be! If you have to watch television, let it at least be something entertaining. On another note, the show was also poorly made. Sound and images didn't always match, and the shot changes seemed arbitrary. It seemed quickly and unprofessionally made, and when they did arrest someone for, say, drunk driving, they would mention the person's full name and show his face. What's the point of ridiculing these offenders? 1 star out of 10 (because it's not possible to give 0 stars)

STAR RATING: ***** The Works **** That Little Bit In Between *** Just Misses the Mark ** Lagging Behind * The Pits A look at outrageous, camcorder recorded moments for traffic cops around the world, narrated by former Coronation Street star Lee Boardman. There's nothing particularly new or original about the concept behind Road Wars, but it's very different from many other shows of it's kind. Rather than focus solely on crazy encounters of the UK police force (of which there are many!) it travels around the world, from the United States, Australia and Africa. It's a mix of the serious and the more light-hearted stuff but they're all, in their own little way, completely shocking and unbelievable. It's all narrated along by former Corrie star Boardman in his sardonic, condescending manner. The fact that he hasn't had much on-screen acting work since leaving Corrie four years previously is pretty typical of most of it's stars, but he's found a niche here giving the show an air of authenticity that is all his own.An interesting and thoroughly engaging show that is one of the best Sky One has produced in a long while. ****
