Really Surprised!

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

Still to this day, this show is my all-time favourite and always will be. Everything about it is just... Perfect.

This show is Feminist liberal garbage. All the women are manipulative cheating,snobs and thots. There is no point to this show besides the women sleeping around with different men and using them as eye candy. Also the misandry on this show is appalling. The lead character played by Emily Vancamp is possibly the most dislike-able protagonist in history. She is mean,cold,dishonest, and generally a despicable person. Also she doesn't seem to be able to put any emotions into her acting besides constantly frowning all the time. I haven't seen acting this bad since Kristen Stewart in Twilight! How she got this role only God knows. Also the men are treated as just eye candy and disposable toys for the women. There is no plot and it's pure garbage. I hated this show and gave it a 1 star. I'm glad it got canceled and hope no more crap like this will be made.

Certainly much of the acting is great. The premise is great. The settings are wonderful and the people look amazing, the photography is great, lighting wonderful with warm sunsets. Except, it gets tiresome to see moneyed people flaunt their wealth. It usually means someone else has paid for it on minimum wage. Much of the evil skulduggery is based on hacked web cams and computers. It is truly surprising that with all the personal "security" and tech these wealthy people must have at their disposal, why hasn't anyone figured out that the dirty secrets come from hidden cameras? The truly wonderful part of the whole series is the leading lady, Emily. She is a never ending ray of sunshine. And furthermore, she is Canadian! Not jaded by the Hollywood world, ever poised, and terrifying at the same time.Having now finished watching the whole series, it does end with suspense and love. You know the ending you want, but wonder if the writers will make it come true. Emily just gets better. My only criticism is that it starts to play like an Italian opera with everyone getting killed or dying at the end (apart from the good guys). Why is it that only the good guys survive the shootings, stabbings and mayhem? Also, I can't get passed the conveniences that keep the story running. People who conveniently overhear others, security that works for one but not another. Also Emily's dad's death is also a bit convenient as a tear jerking moment. Just for fun, when watching Emily do her training, notice how she is facing away from the camera and her back muscles seem to come and go. Can you say double?

Okay so, it's about a girl that tries to take revenge for her father after he's been falsely accused of terrorism. Season 1 is watchable, you learn about the story and characters and it keeps you interested to know more, well that lasts for about 10 episodes, just goes straight downhill after that.. Random irrelevant characters keep showing up to fill the lack of story, plot-holes with no explanations what so ever and also Daniel overacting every single time he's on the screen, with his wide mouth opening and the "chewing imaginary stuff" all the damn time.. People keep dying or disappearing, boats and planes keep blowing up, no on goes to jail 12/10 would blow a plane again.
