It's not great by any means, but it's a pretty good movie that didn't leave me filled with regret for investing time in it.

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

Im a huge fan of Sharlto Copley & Eddie Izzard... to the point where I will watch anything by them. This show has kind of altered this appreciation & enjoyment.I was not expecting Powers to be THIS cringe-worthy. Every sing episode: the dialogue was awful. Something out of a high school film project.Cheesy dialogue, awful acting, and amateurish editing (video & audio - all of season 2, there is heavy large-empty-hallway-type reverb on most conversations taking place outdoors - I thought it was was my download, but I rented the Bluray, and its the same), Lets not forget pointing out the over-exaggerated acting by Susan Heyward (her melodramatic " what the f*** " response to EVERYTHING, during almost all episodes), Adam Godley, Andrew Sensenig, and Eddie Izzard. The CGI is b-grade at best, including the cosplay costumes. However, if you're like me (a sci-fi / fantasy fanatic), you're still going to watch this, and enjoy it, even while being enveloped by cheese.

They are going to have to bring in something new or I'm not going to get through this. The first few episodes were good and it seems to have legs but the cheesy special effects and silliness are starting to wear on me. We've seen it before in HEROES and others ... powers walk among us. There is a police force that deals with them. I'm interested in seeing how it plays out but am I 20 hours of my life interested?

Story is OK. This would probably be better with more and better special effects. Getting a little better but even though it says there is a second season, I'm not holding my breath. I mean obviously the cop is Peter when he lost his powers. Wolfe is Syler. I would rather see Heroes Reborn continue. I cannot believe how cheesy the special effects are in this day and age.Who is Retro Girl anyway? She is like 40. Why Retro Girl and not Retro Woman? Also way too much swearing.I know some will disagree on this but, I calls 'em like I sees em.

Not only are the scripts and characters predictable and utterly unoriginal but there's no reason to get to like these characters. The production company have lost all sense of viewer investment and (on just one episode) I could care less about the miserable protagonists who have to read this foul and abusive script. I already know there'll be no surprises that I couldn't have seen coming from a planet away and did I mention the completely overworked expletives (OK we get it... he a troubled soul with a rebellious streak)I grew up on comic books and super heroes but you've served a dish that isn't suitable for my children and I to watch together. I won't be watching a second episode. Finally, if my comment was peppered with the liberal sprinkling of expletives, you wouldn't allow it to be posted would you...(Jesus Sxxt is a new one but no more imaginative than the usual 'Holy Sxxt')What a shame... in future why not run the trailers later in the schedule and show the viewers just how foul the scripting is. (something about honest advertising)Note: I'm astonished... When I posted my review it was rejected because I used an expletive that was used in the script. Well done. Now if you could have a word with the script writers about decency and acceptable standards
