Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

No Ordinary Family resembled a show that could have easily been a cartoon. Perhaps it would have worked if it was an animated show. It failed as a live action comedy. It could have easily been a plot idea to a sequel to The Incredibles or the Fantastic 4. It seemed to rip off every superhero movie and TV show from the past. One could not help but think what was Michael Chiklis doing signing onto this show, given that I still think of his famous role as corrupt gang police detective Vic Mackey in The Shield. After the first episode, I lost all interest in the show. It was so bad I don't think I even finished the first episode as it was so bad. I didn't even bother watching any further episodes as the show was terrible. The show turned out to be a one season wonder when it was cancelled after one season. I'm positive many fans out there were filthy when the show was cancelled. 1/10.

Another marvelous show canceled. Maybe this has to do with the rift of viewers turning to other means of viewing these days. Either way i truly enjoyed this series, and felt the writing was above average. The characters were lovable, and the cliffhanger at the end left room for so much more. I can't shake the thought of how exciting a new series would be. I am sure the actors feel the same. I truly wish someone would have picked up the series. Maybe Sci-Fi channel who are known to keep some were deserved shows alive would have been up to the challenge. Eureka for example. =) Maybe it is not too late and worth reviving.

What a world we live in if a great family show like this is being cancels for trash like BIGGEST LOSER and fly on the wall shows which are awful or show with talentless celebs trying to get themselves back on the A-list!!!!! My family love this programme as it relates to all of us, which not many show interest us all as we range in age from 10 - over 40 years old!!! We love NCIS to but if they clashed in the UK we like so many would just sky+ it!!!!(record it) Please do not cancel show as you have not ended it and we will never know what happens to George or the new baby!!! Please at least do just one more series as this is one of the best new shows you have produced in years!!!

my criticism is of the general plotting and writing that insults any audience who tries this weak and unimaginative TV show. There is a repeating theory that if characters refuse to simply say something to another character, even something simple as where were you after school, there will be an endlessly contrived result that creates audience interest.my theory is that somewhere in the industry there are 2 or perhaps 3 creative writers....when they are not hired or when they start a show and leave it is all over except waiting for cancellation.look at the adult male lead, Michael Chiklis. his approach is to pant- breath lines. The core concept may have been interesting but the execution is pure awful.
