There is, somehow, an interesting story here, as well as some good acting. There are also some good scenes

It's funny, it's tense, it features two great performances from two actors and the director expertly creates a web of odd tension where you actually don't know what is happening for the majority of the run time.

The biggest problem with this movie is it’s a little better than you think it might be, which somehow makes it worse. As in, it takes itself a bit too seriously, which makes most of the movie feel kind of dull.

This show has a bit if everything. Witty humour. Not so witty humour. Moments of nostalgia for those of us who loved Melissa Joan hart in Sabrina and Clarissa explains it all. But this show also has moments of real emotion that stop you in your tracks for a second and keep you gripped to the underlying story lines. Each character has their own quirks and as you get to know them you really begin to appreciate the level of detail the writers have gone to in order to keep the characters alive and interesting. There are a few "look back" episodes which I personally find boring and frustrating. There are also a couple of episodes that are so left of centre and so dramatised that I lost interest. But persevering through those meant I got to experience the joy and humour of some very clever writing. Overall, this is a good programme to flick on when you don't know what to watch and will guarantee a laugh every single episode.

awful awful awful!!!! where to begin from. the story is so silly to say the least, so many flaws.... the script writer has run out of ideas before the end of season 1. Why is this TV series still on air is beyond me!!! Melissa and Joey = zero chemistry. the actor who plays Joey, except his obvious hair problem/situation, is so annoying, always doing the same moves, flexing, tongue pressing the inside of his cheek, rubbing hands etc etc etc. Melissa started as an intelligent woman and continued as a blonde bimbo. the kids (nephew and niece) have the most stupid story line. Please take this TV show OFF THE AIR NOW!!!!stop wasting money on this garbage!

The first 2.5 seasons were really nice. Great acting, writing. Very breezy and easy to watch and enjoy. It looked going in it would be able to stave off the sitcom cliché blahs. For 2.5 seasons it held up. Then mid season 3 it crashed bad. I guess they ran out of ideas or writers or talent or the execs punted. Who knows but it blew up big time. Every cliché every mediocrity every painful tired wrung out trick. Talk too fast. Every line shouted and screamed. The stories went straight in the toilet and relied solely on that sitcom warhorse, the lie. The lie is where some family member has to be "protected" by a massive bizarre days long lie and all the hysterical hijinks that result. Because after you see that a million times it only gets funny.

I love this show so much. It is the best to come home after a stressful day and unwind with the delightful story lines and hilarious laughs. There are times I have woken my boyfriend up by bursting out in laughter I could not contain while watching before bed. If there is anyone that can watch the episode 'dancing with the stars of Toledo' without literally lol-ing I feel like you may be dead inside. lol!! The writing is awesome, on point, no fillers because they were tired of thinking of things, and last but certainly not least; the acting of the four main characters is absolutely 5 stars. Melissa is HILARIOUS, Joey is PERFECT in his role also hilarious, and Taylor and Nick well, I guess the only thing to say is everyone is PERFECT and HILARIOUS in their roles. They are all so so GREAT! I have been touched by certain moments (which doesn't happen to me a lot) and THOROUGHLY amused by the others. Watch this show it's amazing, I would really recommend to watch from episode 1, give it a chance!
