The story-telling is good with flashbacks. The film is both funny and heartbreaking. You smile in a scene and get a soulcrushing revelation in the next.

There's no way I can possibly love it entirely but I just think its ridiculously bad, but enjoyable at the same time.

The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Daredevil is amazing! Charlie Cox plays a conflicted, angry vigilante and lawyer really well. He has an amazing American accent to boot as well. The writing is amazing in both seasons. Murdock's vigilante lifestyle is woven into his everyday job as an attorney. The directors also make the show feel particularly gritty, whether it be fight scenes or dark colors that seem reminiscent of colors that you see in a fight. Vincent D'Onofrio is particularly chilling as Kingpin. His voice and his size is used to great advantage to scare the audience. Elden Henson as Foggy is always great comic relief, but also feels natural, which is better than it being forced like you see in movies. Deborah Ann Woll is amazing as Karen Page, but her character does such dumb things sometimes I feel like screaming, but she is an amazing actress and it is not her fault. The only negative I have about the whole show is Elektra and her motivations. She is very deranged, but I do not think it makes sense all the time from a storypojnt view. Scott Glenn is amazing as Stick. I hate the character, but Glenn can be an annoying and mean father figure, while tough as hell which is very interesting and compelling to watch. I am not a huge fan of superhero movies or tv, but I loved it and I suggest it for anyone to watch!!!

I've seen the first season in a few days and I can say that this series is a masterpiece in every aspect. Only few episodes have some critical issues but the whole story and above all the storytelling are superb.

Tries to be a serious realistic drama and a fantastical pulpy comic at the same time. The comic stuff works. The serious drama aspect fails miserably. It is not grounded in reality at all. This is unfortunate because it is not only a complete waste but also detracts from the comic aspect. These two styles can not blend together. The final product comes off as though it is confused about itself. I did not watch Iron Fist but Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the Punisher are all superior shows with more focus.

There have been some pretty amazing reviews for Marvel's Daredevil, so I won't say much. When I watched the second episode, I suddenly realised that this was going to be as gritty and dark as all the recent versions of Batman, including the incredible trilogy from Christopher Nolan. And the music is equally as haunting. Two seasons in and I'm still a huge fan. If it ended today, I'll still be glad they made it, although I'm hoping for at least 5 more seasons.
